  1. no the C5 and C6 EBCM's are way different. they are made by Bosch.
  2. DOM is mild steel not chromoloy. DOM and HREW are both the same metal DOM just goes through an extra step to work harden it and makes it stronger. i'll look up tubular and give them a call.
  3. wide body conversion. the z parts will swap over.
  4. 1 3/4 .120 DOM tube. anyone know a place in the area to get it? don't say jegs, all they have is HREW. if you have no idea what i'm talking about then you have no idea.
  5. how? its a $70k wide body conversion with z06 brakes and stupid looking fenders.
  6. you can't tune anything in competitive driving mode or active handling. both are linked with the EBCM and there is no tuning software for that. you might be able to tune the PCM side of it but nothing else. competitive driving mode only turns off traction control and leaves active handing on. active handling controls your brakes by applying brake pressure to the inside wheels to help control a skid.

    i also have a 75g tank and stand with a few extras that i'd let go since i no longer need it. its set up for saltwater. $300
  8. if your going to use it to autocross it needs to be like m2005 or something like that. what ever the newest one it.

  13. thats who IPS sends there stuff to. i would stay away from Fast Racing. they built my very first engine and used stock type head gaskets from engine rebuilders supply and said it was good for 300 shot of n2o. needless to say it blew both gaskets with a 75 shot. when i tore it down i found stripped head bolt holes in the block.

  16. good: 3 link rear suspension bad: the upper link on the 3 link is too short. while it will handle very well its still not ideal because of the short link. more bad: the anti squat is about 30%. again decent handing because of the low number (better number would be around 75%) for drag racing it won't hook as well as it could with 100% or higher anti squat. the good: you could have a car than handles to take to road track days and another car to take drag racing.
  17. when you cranked it over did you hold it wide open so it would go into clear flood mode?

  19. it only goes on one way unless you brake the alignment nipple off. so let me run this down. you have spark. you did not remove the distributor. it will not run on starting fluid. did you pull the plugs to see if they are fuel fouled? where did you check for spark at the coil or at the plugs?

  21. so if its leaking brake fluid what does it matter if its hydro boost or not?
  22. there is 2 crank sensors, replace them both and move on.
