Went to Akai Hana off Old Henderson last night. nice place, atmosphere was nice, server was nice and helpful though a little hard to understand but that was expected. Shrimp tempura roll was good, California roll w/cream cheese was good, I got the Columbus "tray/dish" basically it was a tray with an assortment of different stuff, figured it would be good to try a bit of everything. I think next time I'll try something a bit more "adventurous". All in all tab was $50.50 = $9.00 which was what I was expecting too. I think next time i'll try Haiku, then shoku and kooma.

Alot of places have minimum's. Probably not bdubs b/c their franchised but local pubs will have minimum's alot of times. Though I never knew that Visa doesnt let that happen. But i would talk to the GM or the owner of Fitzgerald's tomorow before going to visa. Most likely he'll apologize out the ass and offer a free tab or something. If he doesnt, then go to Visa.

Well said Tim, I absolutly agree. Fuck politics and they'll fuck you. You cant just ignore politics all together or you'll end up being fucked in the end. If you want something to happen theres a system in place to make it happen. System's not perfect but hell, at least its there. If they were getting "no ratings" how would they be syndicated in pretty much all the major markets. Dont get me wrong, howard has his dedicated followers who wont do anything but listen to him, thats how he was syndicated EVERYWHERE when he was on. One time this really hot blonde followed me home. No seriously, she totally got in front of someone on the highway to stay behind me to make sure i was going home. then she made 3 right turns to follow me and took her sunglasses off so i could see what she really looked like, i know thats why she did it. Then when i waved she put up her middle finger, but not like that, she meant to do it like "come here i want you" type of motion, i know it. After i turned into my my culdesack she saw where i lived, i got out of my car and waved her over but she said something and drove off. Something about "your a jerk and a loser", i think she was talking about her ex though. Im pretty sure she just got out of a bad relationship. But she knows where i live now thats the important part. Yes she is actually. She's into all kinds of foods, which im kinda surprised at b/c she's so small you wouldn't believe how much she can eat. Well she gave me some shit about not trying new things so it was either this or indian food ... lets just say Im not ready for indian food yet but I am willing to try something new.

Do you mean on draft or in general. Winking Lizard has an ok selection of all around type stuff. I like it because they've got Sam Adams Light and New Castle on draft. Bar Louie in Easton has a decent selection on draft and I think they have a location downtown too.

WHOA, thats more than I was thinking of. Usually I dont mind spending a bit of money because I never go out to eat. So if i am I'll splurge a bit and be ok. Im sure we can get out of there without going crazy, of course I'd never make a big deal about a check on a date though.
