So when I left ASK in Grovecity the afternoon I bought my bike, heading home all excited about my new bike - I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO GO 120 MPH?....... I've Never broken my bike in, well yeah I have.....REALLY BROKEN it in - and I've NEVER had a problem. Just keep up with the services. The way I look at it is PLEASE BLOW UP in the 1st year on me, so I can get a NEW ONE - So long as you keep up on the service you'll be fine.... BUT breaking in NEW TIRES is a little different I believe....first 100-200 miles don't hit curves to sharp!! I hope I don't sound ignorant I don't mean too - But outta 4 brand new bikes I've had in the last 110 years, I go faster than I should breaking it in, however the difference is that I don't shift at 12000rpm's or anything like that.....ya know!! - ... See ya'll 2nite Alot of people break their bikes in the way you did, Skip. Personally I think breaking them in hard is the best way to go but people have different opinions about I guess.

You can always try the standny route. They do a lottery for any seats that are leftover if the person that reserved it does not show up at the class start time exactly. They said there is pretty much a guarantee that someone does not show up on time and loses their spot. It's worth a shot if you really want to take the class.

Nice pics Shittygsxr. I almost didn't recognize that R1 since it wasn't plugged into a Battey Tender. Every time I stopped by John's place and saw that bike in the garage for the last nine or ten months it was hooked up to that machine. The bike looks like it found a good home.

I don't know. I thought the same thing at first and realized I could apply that to anything really. It's also a bit unfair to think she is either not capable as being as safe or as good a rider as me or that she could be thinking the same thing and still lets me ride because I like to. It goes both ways. Nick, what if your wife thought the same thing about you being on the sportbike? I used to be the same way but it would be hard for me to say it's a safe enough sport for me but not for her.

Your right, people do stuff like that all the time. I thought the skit was funny and if the skit was reversed no one would have made a big deal about it.

I agree, it is a great course. I think everyone, even experienced riders, can take at least something away from the course. The only drawback to the course is that since it is so popular the time slots fill up months in advance, but I guess you could always go the waitlist route if that is the case.

All bikes are welcome are Quaker. There is always a wide selection of bikes up there from Goldwings, Harley's, sportbikes, motards, etc. Monday nights this website sponsors a bike night at Kickstand's (Polaris area, Lazelle and Sancus Rd). Tuesday night's there is a bike night at Fitzgerald's in the Sawmill area (Carriage Towne Plaza, Bethel and Sawmill). This bike night has alot of cruisers that typically show up there.

That's what they claim - there is a 'family' area near the back or front, but it's all one open campground and people are up to all hours drinking and revving engines - there really is no family area. Alright, sounds good. I don't mind either way, just don't want to get tossed out due to a little partying. I might be game for this. I'll let you know.

Is Mid-Ohio divided up? There is a family area campsite and then another camp site too right?

I AM STILL WAITINT ON MY STICKERS, IT'S ONLY BEEN 1 1/2 MONTH THOUGH, SO PERHAPS I'm JUST BEING TOO PUSHY, BUT I SITLL DO NOT HAVE MY 2 GRAY STICKERS!!!! Lol, they are still on order the last we heard. They started a waiting list for them. Shouldn't be too much longer.
