  1. It appears to be Deals Gap area. Now that you mention it the middle pic looks like it was taken on the Cherohala Skyway.
  2. Nick, what roads are those Duc pics from? Ohio? Those are some pics.
  3. Very true...Also, people rather not push it too hard to prevent destroying their beloved bike..and to me, that's understandable. Yes, you are. Tire wear does say a lot about a persons skill in turns, but that does not mean they are not a good rider, if they are not using 100% of their tires. I typically look at it like everyone of us were beginners at one point and the advance riders looked at you, at that time, the way you are looking at people now, since your skill level has increased. That's right... Everyone of us was a beginner at some point. Some of us still are. I know that if I spent $20k on a bike, I'd treat it more like a Mercedes than a GXR.... Plus, I think he IS using it as was intended. To show it off at "Bike Nights." No way he bought that bike for track days or for performance. The 1098 is a high performance bike. "The result: the 1098 is the most powerful twin-cylinder motorcycle in the world with the highest torque-to-weight ratio of any sport bike. The 1098 is the lightest, fastest stopping, quickest lapping Ducati in history." It can hold it's own.
  4. Lol, is that what it said. I couldn't see the plate from across the parking lot. The 1098 that rode with us is a nice bike, very clean, and real nice mods.

Your time will come my little green friend. I got your back on this one flounder. Who ever gets this bike will be a lucky SOB. It's a nice bike but a ton of upgrades. It's very well maintained.
  6. There are only some many places to go in the early evening/night time weekdays, especially when most people have work the next morning. After a lap or two around 670/71 what more is there to do at night? I don't see most people jumping at the chance to do some country curvey roads at night when visibility is reduced. That is why most people typically do county rides on the weekends.
  7. We rode past this last night downtown. It's a clever ad, it definitely catches your eye.
  8. What's the cone exercise? Is it like the MSF course where they are spread out in a straight line and you have to weave back and forth in between them?
  9. Ditto, Wednesday looks great so far.
  10. Yep, they only showed a couple laps of race 2 on day 2 because of lightning. After a couple laps they put some chopper show on.
  11. I agree. Rain races, aren't any fun to watch. They creep around corners at half the speed they usually do. I definately enjoy watching dry races much better. My AMA superbike race, I got to watch Day1, but Day 2 that came after was cut-off after a few laps, and some American Thunder Chopper show came on! I was pissed....wtf? This is the 2nd time they did that to the DAY 2 of the AMA races. Atleast it don't happen to WSBK whick is my favorite and GP. Yeah Day 2 of the AMA superbike race sucked because of the weather. Did you see the australian kid that came up from behind and was passing in the corners in the rain ? Kinda ballsy but I guess it paid off in the end.
  12. I watched the MotoGP and AMA races this past weekend. The MotoGP race was awesome, Rossi's accent cracks me up every time. It was a nice race to watch Rossi come from behind and win his sixth consective race at that track. The 600 AMA race wasn't too bad, the rain ruined it though.
  13. Ditto. I am down for this if Joe is going to blow some shit up again with those mini explosives. That was a good time. The only drawback to the last time was that it was freezing cold and snowing so we should be cool this time around.
  14. What was his reason for you getting in the back of the cruiser? The one time I ever got pulled over I found myself in the back of the cruiser too. I had accidentally left my license at home that day so they put me back there to verify my information.
  15. Drink a little booze for me too. I'm still at work...
  16. http://lazyk.blogspot.com/ There ya go! I was searching for this forum link all yesterday afternoon. Thanks for posting it again. That blog is funny.
  17. Damn, that's fucked up. I hope those weren't his friends that he was riding with if they left him like the article says. Hope he pulls through ok.
  18. It's a motocycle dealership in central Ohio.
  19. Is it locked down? That was the most interesting blog ever. That sucks if it is locked down.
  20. Wow... I want to laugh, really. But I sort of feel bad. Should I? Oh fuck it.... I don't know what to say about that. I guess if that ASK blog is an indication than it might not be so far fetched.
  21. Yep, it was him. That's his calling card, a 250 slashed into your tire as he drags a knee around you and gives you the westside hand sign.
  22. Great pics Putty. I had a blast both days.
  23. That's ol' flat fish.... Your lucky my camera is still in my bike because I have a pic of you doing the exact same thing to your lady... I will post tonight... Putty and I thought the pics would be funny however the girls didnt agree as much... It turned into a damn wrestling match to get those funny pics. And as bad as the pics look, there is really nothing going on. First, you had your head up a horses ass and now this..... What's next flounder
