I'm up there at 46. Been riding since I was 4, that's 42 years now. DAMN! That's a long time and obviously the bikes have never been better than now. I'd say you guys (and gals) don't know how lucky you are to have the bikes available to buy we do now, but I know you do whenever you go for a ride. I used to look at road race bikes in magazines when I was a kid and wonder why they didn't make bikes that looked like that for everyone. All they had were those old naked bikes, but we all rode dirt bikes anyway so we had it covered.

Yep, you're right about that. I'll tell you...this site is addicting when you get to chatting. I'm supposed to be working right now but I've been all over this thing this morning. Liked the posts about the guys getting blasted while committing crimes. I keep asking Tammy to quit setting the house alarm and leave the door open so I can get a chance to try out my lasergrips on the .40 Beretta, but no dice so far. Oh well. One can only hope.

I'm wondering about that myself. I like it, but if it breaks, there will be a shiny new Gixxer 1000 taking it's place rather quickly. And Putty, no problem. 1 week from right now we'll be doing just great!

Got the rooms for the trip reserved, same hotel, Rooms are as follows: Wednesday: 2 Rooms, 1 sleeps 5 (2 queens + a sofa bed) the other 4 (2 queen beds) Thursday-Sunday: Same as above + 1 add'l double queen bed room Looks like the plan is to leave Wednesday between 5-6 p.m., and we should get there about 10:30-11:30 p.m. 10 day forecast calls for good weather every day but right now Saturday has a 60% chance of rain. Everyone knows how inaccurate long-term forecasts can be, so we'll hope for great weather throughout. As of now, 15 people are going.

I just put a new set of Dunlop Qualifiers on my Repsol before our Oct Deal's Gap trip and at only 1553 miles the rear is down to the wear bars. I have done not 1 burnout on it. The front looks fine still. Anyone else experience such low mileage from Qualifiers? I normally am not a Dunlop guy for just that reason, I never get any mileage from them Time to go back to Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs!

We're getting to the last days of the year. Anyone riding? I'm also thinking of taking Friday the 10th off to ride. 8) Supposed to be 66 degrees...anyone in Ohio that rides knows that we're supposed to take advantage of days like that this late in the year! Anyone want to go?

Found out about the website and am on now. Some of you guys know me, I ride a Repsol and invite all of you on some long or whatever length good rides primarily on country roads you want to go on. I've been on most of them in S.E. Ohio numerous times with forays to W. Va. occasionally. We should go on a W.Va. sandwich run sometime after Sept. 1.
