  1. Looks like a nitrous backfire... and trust me those 2jz's can run 719 hp all day long on the stock internals just fine.
  2. Cleveland is supposed to get between 6 and 20" by tomorrow morning on top of the 6" they already have. Cleveland drivers will still drive faster than Columbus drivers.
  3. I <3 mcir, it's honestly the most entertaining track i've ever been to. White trash running their camaros with kids in the back seats, snowmobiles in the middle of july, atv's, people running their cars that have more mud on them than paint. It's always a fun place to go just to beat on the locals who inquire how the hell a four cylindar car can be so fast.
  4. Getting the car running, then 1000 cc injectors, external fuel pump, full -8an from pump to rail, dsmlink, possibly some spray depending on how it's running as well as how many transmissions I plan on going through this coming season.
  5. Winter tires... pshhh as long as they aren't r-compounds you don't need them unless you live in cleveland or northeast ohio, columbus really doesn't get alll that much snow comparatively. Although I did drive back to cleveland in the blizzard of christmas 2 years ago in the talon, on balding potenza so3 pole positions. That was the scariest drive i've ever undertaken, but made it through alright.
  6. I had a intramural game here at osu get called for the same reason, it was spring session and was getting warm enough out that the inside of the arena was so foggy you couldn't see the other side of the rink.
  7. Big difference between being able to do something and actually doing it. I wish you the best of luck and I (along with I think everyone else on here) look forward to walking you next year.
  8. Anyone want to chip in and buy mcir?
  9. The rice paddy is a shaaaaady ass business. I went there looking for a tank for an older suzuki gs450. They literally told me to my face that "it wouldn't matter how good condition the tank was in I'd probably drop the bike anyways". Fucking tools...
  10. You don't have a question or positive comment for the seller??? Don't post. -Vince

  12. Hmm... nevermind on this. The car cranked over today for teh first time in almost 2 years, got fuel pressure, spark, and oil pressure. Still hasn't started yet though, could be ignition timing fuel injector or possibly the fact that I haven't wired the maf-t into a power source yet.
  13. I'm not sure what i'm going to do with it, I too do not want to change to a new body either... I do love that car. It's just at the point where theres so much wrong with it electrically that i'm afraid that i'm going to do more harm than anything else by trying to fix it... hell the other day I got electrocuted when I tried jumping it and turned the key.
  14. basically swapping my engine/trans into a new shell... honestly shouldn't take a week if I get a good couple days of work on it, a week would be a fairly conservative estimate taking into account any problems that may arise
  15. You people need to start requesting me when you come in there.
  16. I'm pretty sure Michael J Fox can drive better than whoever that is.
  17. more than likely a week... hopefully not much longer. As of now not sure when yet though.
  18. Does anyone have any garage space where I can do a bit of work on my car? Probably a couple weeks in the beginning of December if possible. Anywhere close around Columbus would work, I'd be willing to pay rent if needed as well. Lemme know if anyone has anything.
  19. I'll agree the Trattoria is great and I get half off there, same as Melting Pot. The Thurman burger is quite possibly the best thing to ever be put between 2 pieces of bread. Bellacinos subs are freaking ridiculously good, Jersey Mikes for a distant second.
  20. He's the one performing the ceremony.
  21. Cleveland drivers suck just as much as aroudn here. The main difference is that the speed limits on most cleveland highways are 60 instead of 65 here, and on side roads that might be 35-45 here are 25 mph the whole way in cleveland. It's disgustingly slow to get from point a to point b.
