  1. Everything is sold. Lock'r up.
  2. UPDATED WITH ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN SOLD My wife's Mom and Dad have moved into assisted living and are selling their house and contents. ^I, by default, am the guy who is getting rid of the tools and garage / outdoors stuff. ^So, we have a number of items to dispose of. ^ Most all of this stuff is typical "homeowner quality" types of things. ^If you are a new homeowner and need stuff, these are ideal. ^My father in law was pretty fastidious about his stuff, and most of it is lightly used and in excellent shape. ^ Rather than bog the forum with tons of photos, I only posted a few. ^You can access photos of everything here:http://s145.photobucket.com/user/31rx7/library/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016 Also, if you are interested in furniture, landscaping tools, kitchen stuff, etc., let me know as we have it all. Here's what we have for immediate sale: Air Tank: Yes kids, back in the day we actually used these incendiary devices for air tanks at autocrosses. ^Take an old Freon tank, put an adapter kit on it. And, we lived to tell about it. This one actually has pedigree as it was part of the old Hand's Solo Autocross Supplies catalog. ^$5 width=675 height=1200http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_171955_zpsb4meztlt.jpg[/img] Battery Charger: ^This thing is old. ^Looks like 1970's from the packaging and design. ^Seems to work fine. ^$10 http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_175020_zpsfvl6rxpo.jpg 7-14" Circular Saw: ^Comes in a case that says "Craftsman" but inside is a JC Penney saw. ^Do you remember when JC Penney sold tools? ^I sure don't. ^$10. 3/8" Variable Speed Drill: ^Craftsman case and even a Craftsman Drill! ^I have the 1/2" version of this and it is a beast. ^This thing has so much power that you will burn up drill bits faster than ever before! $15 6" Bench Grinder: ^I used to have one just like this and it worked well right up to the point it failed miserably. ^This is really a light duty unit good for sharpening mower blades and putting a tip back on your cheapo HF screwdriver. ^$10SOLD Nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and other HW: ^Enough stuff here to last a homeowner forever. ^Already organized into drawers and storage. ^I have no idea where it came from and the quality. ^I wouldn't use it for any critical automotive needs, but I am sure it is great for stuff around the house. ^If it saves one trip to the hardware store, you got your money back. $10 for all. SOLD Scrolling Jigsaw: ^Or Saber Saw as some have called it. Nice Craftsman piece. Looks like it was hardly used. ^Comes with case. ^$15SOLD AM / FM / Police Band Radio: ^Radio Shack "Realistic" brand. ^Father in law is a retired policeman, so he spent his spare time listening in. $5 Simplex Wall Clock: This industrial grade unit is my kind of clock. ^Big numbers that are easy to read. ^This is really kind of a cool piece, and I would keep it for myself except it reminds me of the clock on the wall in grade school. ^And let me tell you, those three years in second grade were hell. ^$20 http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_151651_zps62s7inwg.jpg SNAKES!: ^Questions: [li]Do you like frozen burritos? [/li] [li] Do you spend most of your time in the grocery store deciding on which brand of frozen pizza you should purchase? [/li] [li] Eat a lot of Hot Pockets? [/li] If you answered "Yes" to two of these, call now and don't delay! $5 for both! http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_175013_zps74dxbkjh.jpg Soldering Gun: Again, Craftsman. ^2 heat ranges. ^This thing looks like it was used maybe once. $10SOLD Sprayer: ^3 gallon capacity. Looks new. Or new-ish. $5 Framing Square: ^Good old Stanley "Made In USA". ^$5SOLD Vacuum: ^Hoover Windtunnel Vacuum with attachments. ^This really doesn't suck on floors. ^Vacuum works well with attachments, but it is missing the beater bar and belt so not so good on flooring. Easy fix. FREE!GONE And now, the coupe' de grace: ^VINTAGE TOOLS! Vise Grips: ^ When was the last time you could buy a pair of Made In USA Vise Grips for $2.45? ^I'll tell you when: ^IT WAS WHEN THESE WERE SOLD NEW! ^Comes in original box with instructions. These are one big hunk of cool. $20 http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/5f492dce-60ce-4491-9e72-e8d744e907dd_zpsc3fv9pzw.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_174057_zpsfsufmdzy.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_174036_zpsp1d5wpce.jpg Stapler: A very cool "Neva Clog" stapler. ^Original box and instructions PLUS two boxes of Neva Clog staples. $10 http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_173902_zpsbtr93fhz.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/For%20Sale%20-%20March%202016/20160306_173944_zpsrpdpz2v2.jpg Open to package deals, etc. Hit me up at rgrunenwald at columbus rr com. I don't check the forum here as often as others, so you are best reaching me via email. Rich
  3. There are various folks here on the forum that can help with the different clubs. I have been involved in SCCA autocross and road racing for 30+ years and happy to help with SCCA stuff. You can find out about events for the various clubs at their respective web sites. All clubs have their pro's and con's. If you are just starting, don't worry too much about rules, classing, and car prep. Just reach out to the respective club and let them know you are just starting and ask what you need to do. For SCCA: The Ohio Valley Region SCCA site is: http://www.ovr-scca.org The schedule link is in the upper right of the home page. Note the 2016 schedule is not out yet. The contact email for OVR SCCA is: ovrsolo@gmail.com Typically, OVR has a Driver's School early in the year. I highly recommend it as you get coaching and a lot of runs. There's a novice guide at: http://www.ovr-scca.org/_ovrclub/noviceguide/noviceguide.asp?hl=autocross.asp Feel free to reach out direct to me as needed. I have a red C5 Corvette my wife and I will be running. Hope to see you out there. Come up and introduce yourself. Rich
  4. Very nice set of original Corvette wheels. These are the "wagon wheel" style, complete with lugs and center covers. Three of the wheels are excellent, one wheel has a couple of smudge marks that probably can be rubbed out. Specs are: Fronts: 17x8.5, ET58 offset, 5x120.65 (4-3/4") bolt pattern Rears: 17x9.5, ET65 offset, 5x120.65 (4-3/4") bolt pattern I received these in a trade so can be VERY FLEXIBLE on price. Strongly prefer not to ship. Open to trade for other C5 tools and parts, up or down. Also interested in acoustic / electric guitars, amps, vintage stereo, etc. Note photo is simply a sample, not of actual wheels. These also fit the F-Body cars with spacers in the rear. http://www.grantdailey.com/WWMakeover/images/WheelPlain.jpg
  5. Just picked one up for$300. Thanks!
  6. Thanks. I will check with both IPS and Corvette Care. After 30 years of messing with small bore cars, I am clueless when it comes to Corvette specialists.
  7. There's a couple on Corvette Forum that are reasonably priced but far away and the seller won't ship. These are $300 - $400. I have not called the Corvette boneyards yet to check their pricing. Ebay is around $550 plus shipping. There are a couple of Corvette racers I know that I am also going to check with, but thought I would also check here to see what people have.
  8. Looking for the axle-back titanium muffler exhaust for a C5 Corvette. Rich

  13. Set of wheels used for autocrossing. Perfect for C-Street RX8. 17x8, et45. Nice shape; wheels in photo are dirty and I will wash them before delivery. These seem to be around 14 lbs according to my bathroom scale. YMMV. Probably fit a ton of other 5 lug cars. $600. Can deliver to Ohio Tour and Pro events, as well as Nats in Lincoln. Shipping will cost you. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/2005%20Mazda%20RX8%20C%20Street/Wheels%201_zpsfaek2be6.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/2005%20Mazda%20RX8%20C%20Street/Wheels%202_zpshnjdmh0i.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/2005%20Mazda%20RX8%20C%20Street/Wheels%203_zpsmsrgtwmg.jpg Looking for a set of C5 Corvette rims so I will take those in trade.
