  1. Just ordered a new one. Please close thread.
  2. Phil Alspach, TCR Group 888-8100, has a tire mounting business targeted at motorsports folks. Runs out of his house. Near I270 and North High.
  3. 15 ft is just a little short. Thanks. Looking at an ATC 18 ft with tire rack as a new one.
  4. Getting ready to order a new trailer but thought I would check here first to see it somebody had one they might part with. Looking for 16 ft. Deck minimum, all aluminum trailer for hauling an RX8. PM or email. Thanks.
  5. See if you can get cash for the Jegs credit, and then spend it on entry fees. Seat time will give you by far the biggest ROI at this point. In autocrossing, go fast parts don't necessarily make you go faster. 85% driver, 15% car.
  6. One (1) Primewell all season tire, size 195/65-15. Radial. Not quite down to tread bars, good for a spare or if you need one in a pinch. Thought somebody might be able to use it before I toss it. Hilliard area, near Davidson and Dublin Roads. Please PM or email. Rich
  7. I have the snow tires and wheels from the IS300 which is now residing in South Carolina. ^Will sell together or separate. A set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires mounted on a set of Lexus IS300 Wheels. These are 17" wheels, with tires that are 225-45/17. These were used on a 2001 Lexus IS300, and will fit any 2001 to 2005 IS300. They may also fit other models and years, but check to be sure. Two of the tires are virtually new - only used for about a month at the end of the season last year. The other two are at about 4 to 5/32" of tread, so this will be the last season for them. The wheels are the stock IS300 five spoke rims. They are a bit rough but presentable and fine for the winter weather. They could easily be repainted or plasti-dipped to clean them up if desired. The bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3, and the offset is +50mm, the center bore is 60.1mm. ^ Price? ^I have them on CL for $350 for the set together but am open to offers. Note that rim in photo is dirty. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/Junk/Wheel3_zps74df27ee.jpg
  8. These are nice cars. My son has a 2007 and I enjoy driving it.
  9. I have a black 2001 IS300, and it is a great car. Just about the best DD you can own. Blue is my favorite color. GLWS!
  10. I work with several companies who might have some options for her. If she wants to send a resume' to me, my address is rich@acsconsults.com. I'll call her and discuss a few ideas, and if I can help her directly I will, or I'll connect her with a company that can. Look me up on LinkedIn or google my name to see my background. 11. If somebody has interest, talk to me about your budget. For example, exclude the SSR's and other spares, and we can probably get it to $5,000 or even less.
  12. OPEN TO SELLING IN MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS IF YOU HAVE A BUDGET NUMBER YOU ARE TRYING TO WORK WITHIN, LET ME KNOW! Might be open to a street car / classic car trade - NO PROJECTS Updated for annual "Selling my STC Civic" effort. Here is info regarding my Civic that we are selling after the 2014 Nats. There's a small chance we may keep it if it doesn't sell but we believe it's time to move on. The car is way better than the inconsistent results I've had with it, and is the easy button for a person looking to compete at the pointy end. Kinch hopped in the car when his broke at the 2013 Nats and was a second quicker than me, finishing 5th or so on the first day. Might part out and sell it as a street car if it doesn't sell complete. I bought it in 2006. Jimmy Crawford (2009 and 2010 HS National Champ) built it originally. I've enhanced and updated it as the bar has been raised in STC. Here's the link to the original ad. http://www.sccaforums.com/forums/forumid/63/postid/25125/scope/posts#25125 Here's a description and the configuration I prefer to sell it in: (Updated with 2014 info) - 89 Civic Si - Stock D16A6, built by Realtime Racing, 2014 valve job by Aaron at Pure. Dyno sheet before valve job shows 118 HP, 106 TQ. Had quickest 60 ft times at Wilmington Pro. - Chipped ECU with Mugen map modified by Bryan Rawlings. Bryan thinks he can tweak the map a bit more. Talk to him. - Bisimoto header with 2.5" collector. - Very light CoastFab muffler and exhaust - High flow cat - AEM CAI (have intake from Tipple on right now that I might be able to free from him) - New Beck-Arnley reman Honda distributor - Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley - Lightweight battery (New July 2014) plus spare battery. - B&M Short Shifter; poly bushings in shift linkage - Koni 3011 shocks, Koni sleeves. Rebuilt by TrueChoice in March 2014. - Eibach springs, 600 front, 700 rear. - HF front Sway Bar installed but currently not connected. - ASR Rear Bar, .185 wall. Spare .095 wall bar. - Rear Suspension Techniques Adjustable Sway Bar - Front Skunk2 adjustable upper control arms - Rear Ingalls Engineering adjustable upper control arms - Mugen hard rubber bushings throughout - Set of 15x7.5 SSR's, set of Kosei K-1 15x7 wheels, set of Rota Slipstream wheels 15x7.5 wheels - At least 2 sets of Toyo's in various states. - Set Hankooks (V2) to start next year. 8/32+ on these. - Momo Steering Wheel - Corbeau drivers seat - Schroth Harness - Recent maintenance includes new front hubs and bearings for 2014, new rear hubs for 2014, new fuel pump and filter for 2014, new timing belt and water pump, new front axles, new brake hydraulics throughout in 2012 (MC, calipers, wheel cyinders, braded hoses), 2011 transmission rebuild by Bone, new Honda clutch and pressure place in 2014 - Spare distributor, front spindles with hubs and bearings installed for quick in grid changes, bunches of other solid usable spares. - Probably more stuff that I have forgotten. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/2012%20SCCA%20Lincoln%20Spring%20Nationals/IMG00298-20120524-19591.jpg Pictures from the past 6 years are on http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/ View all albums. Price: $6,500, includes everything above and probably more! The weight of the car as raced this year with 2/3 tank of gas was 1995 lbs. I am sure there's a few things you could do to pull another 10 lbs out of it. If you want to go ultra pimpy, get aluminum bodied shocks and the FastBrakes kit and shave another 25+ lbs off. I am also willing to sell it in a lesser configuration at a lower price. Positive aspects of this particular car: - The car has national trophy capability, even in less than capable hands. - Light, truly rust free, unibody, straight as an arrow. - Engine is strong, 118.6 hp on the dyno, and 106 torque (dyno sheet) - Engine was professionally built (Realtime Racing in Wisconsin). Compression, leakdown all good. - Has not seen Ohio winters; was a California car until purchased by Jimmy and shipped to Wisconsin. - LEGAL - Clean title Negative aspects of car: - Driver's seat is not the best. I like it because if fits me, but others don't. You may want to change it. - The car has 202k miles on it and is no show car or beauty queen. I just kept slapping on decals as I got them, and so it's a bit tacky - right at home on the STC grid. It has 23 years of dings and dents. The hood and front fenders are the worst. - The interior is a bit worn, but not terrible. For example, no bad smells. - I assume the new owner will drive it to events. I know the brake lights, turn signals, headlights, wipers all work. I know the horn and rear wiper do not work. - The other negative is the reality of a 23 year old car that you drive the snot out of. The stuff that goes wrong is the stuff you wouldn't anticipate but happens due to age. If you are interested, I'd like to get the deal done soon so I can confirm plans for 2015. I may flex a little on price, but the reality is I can convert it to street car for $3500 - $4000 and sell the remaining parts. There are other cars that come available from time to time, and you can use those as a basis of comparison. The stuff under $4500 tends to have rust, be a 1990 - 1991, or a much lower level of prep. Flexible on price based on configuration. For example, delete the SSR's and it's $5500. Take out the SSR's and Kosei's / Hankooks, and it's $5000. Take out the Bisi and pimp exhaust and knock off another $750. Give me a call if you want to talk. Rich Grunenwald 614 FiveHundred&SixtyOne 3412
  13. Steve, just replied to your PM. Call me and we'll make arrangements.
  14. SOLD I have them on CL for $25 for both, but I just want to move them. Two very nice leaded glass shades. The first shade is about 15" diameter by 8.5" tall. It has three colors, alternating white and gold, with a band of red glass separating the top and sides. The hole at the top where the support would go is about 2.75" diameter. It is in very nice shape except for a crack in one of the panes on the top. The size of ths shade would suggest that it was used in a hanging lamp or ceiling fixture. The second shade is about 10" diameter and 7" tall. It has two primary colors, a darker amber color and white glass tinited with amber. The hole at the top where the support would go is about 3" diameter. It is very good condition also, and its size would suggest it was used as part of a table or floor lamp. $20 for both, open to offers, will sell together or separate. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/Junk/photo3_zpsb7573bb4.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/Junk/photo2_zpsb522fcbb.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/Junk/photo4_zps4c76391e.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r228/31rx7/Junk/photo1_zps57922f57.jpg
  15. How is this for oil usage? I've had trouble with some of the SL2 / SC2's but am unfamilair with the single cam cars regarding oil usage. BTW, car looks good.
  16. Didn't know you bought the Toilet Duck. You have a busy five weeks in front of you.
  17. I have not driven the new IS, but as an owner of the first gen IS, they are just about the perfect blend of performance and daily driver. I suspect the new one is even better. With regular tires, they are treacherous in snow, but with snow tires (I have Blizzak's) they are fine.

I am sure Kale and the rest of the folks from the club would help you out.
  19. Matt, keep me in mind if you need a driver. I need an excuse to get on track. Well, an excuse and a few spare bucks also.
