You can do it yourself. You just need some jewel pliers. Taking it somewhere will be atleast 300 dollars, thats what I got quoted for my 14b to be rebuilt.

Um i beleive i bought this car like last year.... 10th May 2006, 01:14 AM ... And it ended up being a bad turbo seal and a missing freeze plug.

If the oring was bad her "silicon" job would of fixed the leak.

Idle surge will not be caused by the biss unless the o-ring seal is leaking. Your idle surge is caused by your IAC(DUH) thats why your check engine code went off. Replace/clean whatever you need to fix your IAC and your problems should be fix. If your idle is still surging do a boost leak test.

The biss is suppose to be loose. I hope you didnt use to much silicon. Like skold said attempt to clean the IAC, if that doesn't work try and pick up a used one.
