I just found out that people have different inseams and sometimes weigh different amount. So maybe you have a long inseam for your height or maybe you weigh more. I have ridden with many people on this site and lets be honest most cant ride for shit. Lower it if you have too

It involves pulling the cam covers, rotating the motor and using feeler gauges to check clearances. I would say anyone can do it if you take your time, but someone experienced could probably do it much more quickly.
