  3. Yup! Testing Vehicle is a 2003 with the 360. Getting some baseline numbers and experience with the software. Then the Turbo Kit begins.

Just a little fuel and timing changes on 87 octane. Next time it goes on the dyno, we try to work on A/F above 4500 rpms. However, with the motor making peak power at 4,000. I see little benefits to getting the A/F to lean out about 4500. Like I said this is a learning curve. A call to precision on 4-11-08 for Turbo, Wastegate, Flanges, Gaskets, Fittings, ETC.
  6. As some of you know, I had mentioned that I would be getting my hands on a G8 for some extensive testing and tuning along with a couple performance enhancements. So here is the plan. 1. Car will be going on the dyno on the three times next week. 2. Trip one will be to baseline a 500 mile G8 and then tune with the 87 Octane that was designed to run on. 3. Trip two will be bring the car back with 94 octane and retune for more timing an a slightly leaner A/F 4. Trip three will be with the installation of 1.8 Roller Rockers from Yella Terra and a Cold Air Intake. 5. A deposit has been made for an APS Twin Turbo kit which is due to ship from Australia by the end of the month. Install turbo kit and bring back to the dyno for tuning. I have been spending my free time burried in HP Tuners and I am becoming quite familar with GM's lastest ecms. I gotta admit I am excited!! Stay Tuned for Dyno Results as the project goes.

  8. Thank you Linn and Others. I am still working as we speak. Sorry for not posting the graphs. I left my jump key with the runs in the Vette . I need to go and and get them again. . Dyno Tune is very busy month. This makes Dyno Brian very happy.

  13. You will be fine. I have had dragsters on the dyno. I may not do much in the way of installs. But I have dynoed everything under the sun. Ask Dr. ZO6. I am a dyno guru.

  15. I have had a few NMCA "street cars in the 1100-1200 rwhp range on the dyno without any problems. It is not going to accelerate the rollers as fast as you think.
  16. I am sure asking this question is the same as asking which of the 4 japanese manufacturers makes the best sport bike. I have had Nextel since 2001 and I am looking for a change. Mainly because nextel does not have all the "cool" phones like the companies. Who is the best all around provider in 2008? One thing that is real important to me is that I keep my existing phone number.
