Should race mini's... NSF-100, CRF150R, CR85, etc. Super cheap and just as fun! But, if I were looking to race full sized, I'd look into the 250cc class! It's a fun class and cost is low

Somewhat true, but in my case... They needed to hire the additional manpower to up our manning at each fire dept anyway, and they were already paying their salaries, so it was a win/win for everyone! If it wasn't for our union, those guys would be out a job and we would be forced to hire new personal, that would of cost even more money for training and whatnot. By the way, we are funded federally not by the state so we saved the federal government money.

I've taken a huge hit. Ever since I was hired, I was hired in on a pay freeze (means no step increases, and longevity. Which in turn means it takes longer for me to get promoted), my pay was taken away for the past 2yrs.. Was told to take 80hrs off my pay per year for 2 years (called CSD's, any state employee knows what I'm talking about), my health Insurance has increased almost double what I was paying before, my personal leave was taken away for 2 years and I just started to get it back in the last few months, my vacation and numerous other things are in the works to be taken away! Believe me, it has affected me!!!! Oh and also the Fire Chief and Captains have also taken the same hit

Because it is keeping more fire and police on the streets! Without my union, the state firefighters over in Springfield would of all lost their jobs when the base closed.., our union saved the state money by absorbing those firefighters into the other state Fire Depts and upping our manning to the numbers we should be at!! We were always undermanned before and were getting paid a lot of money in OT.. Now that we have the proper staffing at all state FD's, the OT has dropped almost to none now! Sucks for me because I liked to get OT, but it saves the State money and saves jobs! NO ON ISSUE 2!!!!

I've got a 3GS, that is 1.5yrs old.. has light scratches on it (normal use stuff), had cover on it most of its life.. works great, never had a problem with it. Just upgraded to the 4S, so no longer need this. Going on ebay if it doesn't sell soon here. Cheaper price for OR members.. Rather sale to local person, so $175 takes it home for a OR member only! Located on the east side (Blacklick). 16GB phone, comes with charger and old box. I can make more off this on ebay, but don't want to hassle with it! CASH or PAYPAL.. I got one for my wife and I.. I think it's bad ass! She had the old 3G, and I had the 3GS, so it was leaps above those two phones. The 4S not only has Siri, but the camera is better, 1080p HD video, dual processor = faster everything, dual antenna's, etc.. Watch the video about it on apple if you haven't already.. It explains all the different shit that the 4S has and can do. BTW, my 3GS is for sale!!!

I don't know who the people were that made the shitty comments and what not, but I do agree with ya on that fact that the bikes need to be split up by speed. And I'm shocked that you have not signed the wavier at CRP the last few times! That's the first thing they hand me (and others when I've went) before they take your $15. I'm sure if you go there now, that you'll sign one!

I've always had to sign a waiver before I got on the track.. Steve or Danny will chase ya down with that paperwork. I was told that any waiver will not hold up, and that u can still sue, or the insurance will sue!

Yes, it is very sad! From what I gather from being there yesterday for a race.. the track owner (Steve) said that the guy on the bike did not speak English very well and I thought he told him to not go out when the karts were on the track. Also, this is just what I heard around the pits and not to be understood as fact... I guess the kid on the kart spins out a lot and gets disoriented and will just start going no matter what direction the track was running. So, that might of been the problem, he was young and I can see my 6yr old doing the same thing.. that is why he isn't racing or on the track with others at this time! I was also told by one of my members that was there, he said the kart the kid was on was VERY small.. alot smaller then a normal kart, and even had extintions on the pedals. When I go for open practice days there, I ALWAYS talk to the kart guys and tell them what direction I'm going and to NOT go on the track when I'm out there (I'm never out there for practice for more then 10min anyway). If I see a kart on the track.. I pull off right away! Anyway, prayers to the family of the child. RIP little man!

Round 8 of the ORML Racing season is this weekend (Sept 11, 2011 @ 8:30a) at Circleville Raceway Park (CRP). Come out and have fun racing mini's on the track for a very cheap fee! (free if you NEVER raced with us before) IF you have anything from 50cc-105cc 2 strokes, and or 50-200cc 4 strokes around.. come out and race with us! If you need gear, you can use one of the few sets of leathers we have available for FREE. (boots, helmet, and gloves are not provided). If you want to try it out, we have bikes for rent (Stock XR100's) and you can see for yourself how much fun this really is! Or you can just come out and watch the close racing!! Speedy, nope... I just sold my 600RR a few months ago, but looking at getting either a 675 or 1kRR for next year.. Just saving my cash! About your Sumo.. We were allowed to run them at BeaveRun's races this season, but waiting for word that we can run them all season long at other tracks. You are more then welcome to bring it down and run some practice laps with it!! That's always cheap! I miss riding with you all!! I think last time we rode I had my old R6!
