  1. I'm glad you had fun? Even if it was a cold/rainy day. I hope the next round May 12th) is nicer out! Btw, here is the video to my highside.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-JDm-F-l1A&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  2. I raced today!! High sided my bike too... Video will be posted soon!
  3. If my mini roadrace bike can turn the drum, then anything can!! 20hp baby! Haha
  4. The OMRL (Ohio Mini Roadracing League) Has added an asphalt only supermoto class to our line up. We will be hosting 9 events this season and the big bikes are welcome. Our current rules for the class are as follows; ◦Dirt Bike "Style" Motorcycles only. (NO GP Chassis') ◦Asphalt Only (NO DIRT SECTION) ◦Unlimited modification to suspension. ◦Unlimited wheel size. ◦Unlimited modification to braking system. ◦Unlimited modifications to Exhaust with sufficient silencer. ◦Unlimited modifications to engine. ◦Unlimited modifications to carburetor. ◦Engine displacement must not exceed 450cc (4-stroke), 300cc (2-stroke) We are currently working with the tracks insurance company to allow the cc limit to be unlimited! As of now PIRC (Beaverun) will allow the unlimited bikes and CRP (Circleville Raceway Park) is the one we are still working with. I promise if you show up with a unlimited bike you WILL RACE!!!! So check us out at www.ohiominigp.com and remember the season starts April 21st! Also, mini's from 50cc to 150-200cc bikes can race as well! We have classes for every bike! Bring it and race! If you have NEVER raced with us before, your first race (1 class) is FREE! Transponder's are used and if you don't have your own, one can be rented for $10. Hit me up for more info! Hope to see everyone at the track this season!!
  5. I need to get started on this.. Because I'm not getting younger!! I've got money going into my defered comp every paycheck... But I k ow I can do better! I'll be keeping an eye on this topic and reading some links! Any and all info would be great!!
  6. Very cool!! Glad you all are doing this again.. I live in Blacklick so it's real close for me. I'm working at the FD tonight.. But I'll be able to make next Wed for sure!! See ya all then!
  7. If they fit me, I'll take them.. I fit into a size 9.5 in a Nike.. Do you think these would these fit?
  8. Very good people!! I've known her for many years and the bike as well.. She babied that thing and kept great care of it. Should be a great bike for ya
  9. I use Bickel Racing pucks...I like them
  10. I do like most have already stated, buy in the winter, buy some used parts, save up etc... But, 80% of my racing funds come from me selling Advocare supplements. And now that my 7yr old is getting into dirt bikes, and my wife wanting to learn how to ride... Things are starting to get interesting! I also make and sell motor bracket kits and frame slider kits for the mini's I race. 100% of that money goes into my racing account. Thats another thing, my wife was tired of me using our normal account for racing stuff.. So I opened a separate account just for my racing fees, tires, parts, etc.. It keeps the fights down between my wife and I, and we agree that I can take out a certain amount every week to put into the race account. Brian hit the nail on the head with his post, just thought if share my .02
  11. No problem.. Yes a CRF150R can bump up to the motard class.. Or any F1 bike I'm sure could.. As long as the lap times are not too slow. A 450 with the right rider could do some damage out there.. Kent and I (leaders in the F1 class) do 51 sec laps around there.. I think I clocked a 450 around .46-48 sec lap. But that was Mark Burkheart! Lol
  12. Yeah, bring the tards out!! We have a motard class 450 and under now!! Let everyone know!! People asked for it, we made it happen!
  13. Thanks.. Yes I plan on going back out Sat around 1pm.. The track is located just north of Circleville on Rt 23 next to the old Sanoco gas station/ truck stop on the West side of the road. Kinda across from the old 84 Lumber yard (not there anymore, it's now some auto salvage place).
  14. Full sized bike.. No! It's a kart track, I'd say anything bigger than a 450 super moto is overkill.. Even a 450 is! A 600,1k sport bike on there is just not safe and I'm sure they wouldn't let ya on with anyone else due to what happened to the 5yr old kid last year! Seat hight.. I have no clue... I would have to measure.. But here's a pic of me next to it to give ya an idea. I'm 5'8"
  15. Was out there yesterday... Only 2 other guys were there but left as soon as I got there, so it's a little uneasy riding on the track with nobody else really watching! Lol. But, the weather was perfect and I got some great practice in! Hope to go back Satutday and hope more people show up!
  16. I rented out CRP all by myself today!! Ok.. Not really like Jennings, but wow!! That's cool to rent out a big track like that and ride when u want!
  17. Boo... I think there is going to be a few of us there in the afternoon.. Come out and join in if u can
  18. I'm thinking of going out Wed afternoon and Sat as well. (3/14 & 3/17) Who's game? Trying to get a few from my club to join in also. Time to dust off the cob webs
  19. Hey man, you and I live close to each other.. I can load your bike in my truck with mine and we can go run a few practice laps!! I even have leathers for ya if u can fit into a 44 or 46 I'll show ya the lines and get your lap times in check, just in time for the first race!! Btw, your first race is free if you've never raced with us before!!
