Sara... Get a set of the Optimal Racing plastics. They are more then enough for what you need and get good reviews. Im going to disagree with Lizard and tell you not to get a used set because I know you and you will not be happy with the quality of a used set as they will have nicks, chips, and paint you most likely wont like. Just get the optimal racing set and then if you decide you want them painted you can have attack painter paint them. Unfortunately the shipment coming for your model has been postponed again as they are having a hard time keeping up with demand. You can either google them and maybe find a set or go with another manufacturer, or if you think you will be satisfied (Im telling you that you wont) get used.

Jess,, looks like your really leaning out there.. I would say to work on getting your ass off the seat and getting off the bike more will help you not have to lean as much. The big thing I want to say is. PEOPLE NEED TO QUIT WEARING SUNGLASSES UNDER THEIR HELMET AT THE TRACK. Youre already in an environment which is more prone to crashes. IF you crash while wearing glasses, your helmet WILL move enough to shift or break those glasses and potentially blind you for life. GET A TINTED SCREEN PEOPLE. We spend thousands to buy all this other shit to protect ourselves during a crash and by throwing glasses on under your helmet, you up the chances of blinding yourself 10 fold.

36's at mid ohio are moving pretty good.. I think you will find one of your biggest slowdowns will be the other riders in your way.

Ive posted those vids on here before. He is an old dirt rider and definitely has some skills. From everything I have read and learned, there is no time advantage to sliding it as much as he is doing. He is purposely sliding it as much as he can for the vids. There has been tests done that actually show that spinning the tire coming out of a turn tends to preserve tirelife.. this was an old test so I dont know if it still applies with the newer tires.
