    Layoffs Suck

+1 I veto'd that place asap as soon as I could. What is your specialty, I may be able to help you with another job.
  3. Last year the weather was horrible. And I mean horrible. If you werent under covered seats, you were hating life.
  4. Novice sounds about right.. Thats it.. my 750 is getting #10 plates on it..
  5. You obviously dont know whats involved in changing barrels on most guns. Its not as simple as unscrewing and screwing in another barrel.
  6. Its a very nice range. Its the range that I shoot long range tactical competitions at. (1100+ yards) Thunder Valley out in Kimbolton Ohio. It was nice having all the different models of suppressors as well as a Class III dealer and Class III suppressor manufacturer at the event to talk with and be able to demo multiple products.
  7. If you make one on your own, you run the risk of going to jail for a very very long time. Its one thing the BATF doesnt mess around with. Scary thing is that they are not very hard to make. PS. potatoes dont even compare to a legitimate can. There are plenty of youtube videos to prove it..
  8. Do any of you doing track days this weekend have on board cameras on your bikes. I love mine for recording me at the track.
  9. I wont disagree with anything that you just said ben. I can agree that its a shitty situation all around and Im glad Im not on the jury to have to decide one way or another.
  10. Short answer.. Yes She should be charged. False - You have no idea what was the reason for the crash because you were not in the car. Thats a fact and every attorney out there will argue that if it wasnt for racing, this accident may have never happened. They exposed themselves to a risk and now they have to deal with the results. No different then a robbery. Even if you werent the one that pulled the trigger, you can still be held partly responsible. I understand he was your friend but personal feelings aside, he is partly responsible just as his wife is. They are going after brandon because he is the other 50% of the equation for the race.
  11. Prices vary depending on caliber, manufacture, suppressor material, etc. A can for a .22 will cost you $250+ while a Ti can for a .30 cal can run upwards of $1800. Then dont forget you have to have your barrel threaded or adapters made for pre-threaded barrels with different thread configurations, FFL fees if you have to have it transferred, $200 tax stamp to BATF to legally buy, and any other misc fees involved. The wait time for the paperwork processing can run 3+ months just to get everything approved.
  12. Yes suppressors are legal as long as you follow the proper BATF rules for obtaining one.
  13. This was my saturday shooting various models of suppressors on different caliber rifles. 14. That looks like the pull off location right before you start hauling ass on the cheriola skyway.
  15. Keep running your mouth and Im going to paint a 10 on my plates and park beside you every chance I get.. :D And burton gave me compliments that day since evidently he followed me for a while and said I was doing damn good.
  16. Best road in ohio to crash on... Lots of great corners with shit all in the road. dirt gravel, tractor mud, horse shit, etc.
  17. You need to put some protection around that chain or else your going to scratch your rims to all hell
  18. Its actually not a common occurrence as most just have the barrel threaded for the correct can threads. Mine however is threaded for a brake which has a different thread setup then the can which either means make an adapter or chop the barrel and rethread.
  19. Alright,, the parts are for adapters for barrels to to accept a can. The problem is that the barrell is threaded for 5/8x32 to accept a brake and the cans are threaded 5/8x24. So one end of the adapter needs to be threaded to go over 5/8x32 then have a small spot which would accept a wrench and the other end would needed to be threaded 5/8x24 to insert into the can. The part shouldnt be more then 2 inches long i would imagine and then for the center bore, it needs to be bored probably around .400-.450 so that the round can freely pass through the adapter as it travels to the can. The reason for no tooling marks inside the bore is that it would affect the airflow as the round passes through and if it changes the path, there is a risk that the round could strike a baffle as it travels through the can. If I do this, I would also have an another adapter made which has the 5/8x24 on the can end and 1/2x28 on the other so that it would thread over an different barrel. Ideally, I would like an 11-15 degree bore crown on the can side of the adapter To be honest, I still havent decided if Im going to do it but I wanted to see what something like this would take to make to see if its worth the cost. Like I said, I have people that can do it but if someone with experience is local. I would love to be able to watch the process if I decide to do it. Its about a year away but I need to know all associated costs up front before making my decision
  20. Go silver!!!.. that would look bad ass. I have white plates on mine but I wish I would have gone with silver or something different.
