That is Vances sister store. As far as safes go, make sure of the following. 1. Get a heavy duty safe, not just a metal gun cabinet. 2. Bolt it to the floor GOOD, They are fairly easy to open if you can get them on tipped on their back. There are a few other tricks I can tell you about to deal with the crooks that like torches or cutting wheels. Other then that, if a crook wants your stuff bad enough, they will get it. Make sure your insurance covers your guns.

So we were getting bored while they were setting up some of the targets out and 600 and 1000 yards so a few of us decided to make our own targets at the 200 yard mark. They finally posted the pics.

I dont eat groundhog... but most everything else is game. Ever since I opened a ground hog up when I was younger and it evidently had some type of disease/cancer, etc, I havent tried to clean one since. I have to agree, hogs are pretty dumb, I used to help my uncle slaughter them on his farm.

Wow so yesterday was an absolute blast. A bit windy but as soon as we doped our wind correction, it was clobbering time. One of the guys was making fairly consistent hits on the 1 mile target (1760 yards) with his Custom 300 short mag. I shot his rifle and missed the target by about 12 inches due to a wind change. The mile target is only a 12" steel plate. Anyway, here is a vid of me shooting at various distances out to 1000 yards with my .308. Ok so let me just say this. I know gixxie, and i have ridden with him at the track and he is a nice guy. What it all boils down to is that no one wants him to get put in a situation where he could be held accountable for someone else doing something and getting hurt or hurting someone else. The advice is solely to protect him from getting in trouble or sued because no one here wants to see that happen.
