This is what Todd got from management about the gate situation:
Opens at 6:00 am
Closes at 10:00 pm
Anyone arriving after 10:00 pm can park in the VDA lot next to the gate and then enter the main facility once they open at 6:00 am.

My girlfriend's brother and all his buddy go there twice a year and ride their quads, he seems to enjoy it.

Thanks guys, hitting up hofbrauhaus with some co workers tonight

Change of plans, I'm doing the race school on Sunday now.
Glad to hear you finally listened to all the peer pressure:D

Damn, that's a lot of shit to stuff into a suit.
Pretty funny coming from a guy that looks like a large verison of the micehlin man:D

No one has mentioned it at all, but looking at those pics the parking area appears to be in great shape with the recent repave and work going on.
Yep entry road, hot, and cold pit have all been repaved. The pit area on the right (when driving in to cold pit) is paved all the way up to the curb. The area on the left where we have pitted before still has the grass to where you could put a tent up.
^this, it will be nice to be completely on pavement. Also, I heard they fixed the bump into T1
Yep, it is noticeable when you go into T1 as you can see where it was grounded down, was a big surprise, but a good one.

was a good event with very small grids...there was MAYBE 30 riders total on Sunday if I was to guess. Only one crash all day, great weather. Was nice to have the services of Dave Moss for suspension tuning and Chris Peris for coaching available for those that were interested. It was cool to be able to go out during lunch also and watch Chris ride and see his apex and line selection. Overall I would say it is a good group and they seem to run a decent program, main thing that was affecting their turnout is lack of advertisement, being new group to the area, and WERA having a race weekend at Grattan.

Alright, skipping corner working the cart track sunday, going to ride with Brian and Matt.
-
Who all is riding Sunday? I am up in the air as of now? Anyone riding in advance?
-
It is white
-
You can take me off corner working, tracktactics decreased how many corner workers they wanted so all the veterans get the spot, I will be over on the kart track. Debating saying screw it and ride Sunday.

never seen something like that tumbler before, that is kind of cool. What all does Chris use that for?
-
rivet style that came already installed on the sharkskinz bodywork, did they not do that for you?
I don't have sharkskinz
-
seat time, tires, r6 throttle, Spiegler SS lines, good pads, and good fluid and that is all you should need for the season.
-
Okay, got a new set of bodywork and seeing which dzus fasteners people tend to go with and where they purchase from.
I have used the black 12mm d ring style dzus fasteners from kurvy girl in the pass, but have had issues with them rattling use. Attack doesn't list theirs for sale anymore on their website, and Sharkskinz is $7 per fastener.
So what I am looking for is what most people go with in style, length, price, and location. Make sure to list if you use the clip or rivet style.

Son of a bitch. I signed up last night before the coupon code was posted. Anyway to still get the discount?
Email him about it, but I know he said on the Moto Series website for those that have already signed up you would be issued a credit in the amount of the discount on your account to use on your next event.

I thought Gibson was wearing a custom set of Speed and Strength leathers? Any word on when those are going to be done?

Me and the kid should be there. Me in INT him in novice. How is the novice instruction with motoseries?
Craig (blue03636), Jinu (jbot), and myself are all instructors for the novice program, feel free to stop by the pits and say hello. I will have the Ohio Riders banner up.

When i talked to Todd Thursday he wasnt too sure there was going to be a race school.
Usually race schools are only offered during race rounds.
-
I will be there and know a couple people from pittsburgh coming.
-
Tell me more. How did you get vested in corner work versus riding?
Living in Pittsburgh currently so not far from the track. New management needed corner workers to work events and had a listing on their website. Figured it was a decent thing to do to help when I wasn't riding.
Tracktactics group is ran by a bunch of AMA people, seems like it would be a decent event but I wanted to ride with Moto Series the follow weekend, so I decided to work.

I will be corner working the event.
