John's theme song is The Lonely Island "No Homo"

Have fun guys, I am out as I will be going to Knoxville, TN to take my licensure boards.
-
Have to have leather ?
you can rent a suit for $35 if you don't have one
-
I could make this but it will probably be in my best interest to stay home and focus studying for my licensure boards.
-
The bridgestone guy (don't remember his name) said he would run it how it is and said it was fine. He obviously isn't a race director, but ill ask Todd anyway. Ill take some closer pics and email him
Have you seen quinten's bike....hell he has half of the bike missing. Like I said you need to think of safety aspect for both you and others if it is sharp and cause damage.
-
Sorry to hear about the wreck, looks from the video like you tucked the front under trail braking or loading the front by the way the bars went and you went down. Also you might want to check to see if Todd is going to allow that tank to pass tech, bc that is a pretty major dent and looks to be jacked on the edge.
-
Hell Suzuki let's them do it at the pony why not let me do it at the track
Please tell me you did NOT wreck a bike on a demo ride at Pony...
-
This ^^^^^
Joe, no one is going to give you a ducati or triumph to wreck, nice try:D
-
yeah your feet are sticking out too much, you need to get farther on your toes and get them in tighter on the foot peg
-
I have the knox countour race model for track riding, but when I was still riding on the street I use to wear the roll up one from Knox that Iron Pony had for sale a few years ago. It was actually pretty stout and fit well in my leather alpinestars jacket if i took the liner out.

I say sell and take care of your life priorities, you can always get back to riding when finances are appropriate.

every twilight i've ever been to it has rained or was a wet/drying track...
thank you for ruining it for everyone else...what about the time you wrecked in the carrousel, wasn't that a twilight:p

Midweek is too hard. Maybe on of the Saturday Twilights.
Obviously you didn't read....this is a Saturday Twilight event:D
-
Was seeing if anyone was thinking about going to the twilight event at Mid Ohio on June 16th. This event is ran from 5pm till dusk (usually cut at 8-830). Cost is $150, and is designed only for intermediate and advance riders as they run two 30 minute sessions. If I can get the money for it I would like to make it as I have not been to Mid Ohio this year and I will be starting my new gig at University of Cincy on July 9th so I will not be riding for a bit afterwards.
If you are going please post up and what group you are signing up under, along with bike description if I don't know you.
Thanks,
Nick

I think you're missing a pinch bolt or two lol. But thanks for the pics guys, once I get my safety wire pliers ill see what I can do!
Only required to have one per side.
-
Yep they do.....but man, I'm looking at $800-$1000 for everything.
You are not going to have a cheap option for that bike, it is not a popular bike to still be used.

Okay here is how Nate and I do ours:
Nate's:
He removed the metal piece that typically goes over the pin and between the pads, I keep mine in as I prefer it to have in so the pads don't move around at all.
Mine:
Also I use the clips for my caliper bolts as it makes it easier for tire changes, were as they are not used in nate's original picture when he first did it.
-
R6 or SV?
He is on Jeff's old R6
-
Alright guys thanks, I know what I need to do. I will just drill it and do it right and not be a lazy POS lol.
Do not drill the pin retaining bolt, the R6 is different and doesn't screw in like the honda. Remove the R clips and wire around the pads, I can take a picture tomorrow to demonstrate. Wire the caliper bolts like Brian demonstrated and use the pins you can close, you can buy them at lowes or home depot.

Jason is looking good, think that is the only member i see in those pictures.
-
congrats, are you using it only for track or are you doing track/street mix?
-
Ya.. he is pissed about that and the tank
Reuben has a guy that fixed cox's bike the first time it happened
Is it too early.....?

There is a good Italian place that Craig and I went to with Andrew Sexton before just up the road from the track, not bad prices either.
