  1. I'd heard that elsewhere too. Thanx for the link

Who knew it was rabies before the vet spoonfed us? I knew as soon as the old lady at the beginning was foaming at the mouth

    Soooooooo...........SPOILER ALERT BELOW!!!!.........................

At the end of the movie.......The "guy" that killed the reporters.......Was he the one they mentioned toward the beginning of the movie as also living in another city, and nobody'd seen in several months, so they didn't need to clear his apt?

Based on the newspapers & paraphernalia in his apt, this outbreak was apparently created intentionally?

Was the "person" in the attic when he stuck his camera up in there, the same one that killed both of them? The one in the attic looked like a child to me???

I didnt know it was rabies...i was too busy not watching and just listening.

The last scene made the movie, imo. I felt it was pretty intense and realistic (minus the so-called monster). I believe the outbreak was created. I'm guessing the monster at the end was either the creator...or a test subject that was still alive. maybe he was alive because he had some other drug in his system that allowed him to morph in to this monster. Either way...I can't believe I'm discussing this movie :)

  2. I liked the story...hated the fact that it was a "camcorder" movie. I get motion sick watching these. Same goes for Blair Witch and Cloverfield. I need to watch these types on DVD at home. That way i can take a break every 30 mins or so.

  3. I play on Pokerstars. Usually play $5/$10 Sit-n-go's. I've been on this site for 5-6 years. I'm kinda burn out on it. I'd be up for home games...no-limit hold'em, no rebuys. I could probably get some others to play as well. A regular weekly game during the winter would be nice...Wednesdays would be key...especially since we're all used to going to bike nights.

  4. I'd avoid the utility quads. I know you want to use it to plow snow...but isn't that what you have a wife for?! (joking). We got one snow fall last year. I used my 400ex to remove snow: donuts in the driveway!!!

Knowing you like a little speed, you might want to go with something else. Perry/Wayne will support the utility quad...but I'm fairly certain you'll tire quickly.

If you're buying new, you should really look in the honda 700...it has rear independent suspension. Also, look in to the new Bombardiers/Cannondales. I cant remember the make, but Hinds carries this quad i speak of. they're more like a sport quad but they have rear independent suspensions and they're fully automatic. Also, you can switch from 2 to 4 wheel drive. The salesman spoke highly of this and a friend did some research and stated that these were really good. you might be able to attach a plow for the one snow day per year.

  5. Benyen,

Thanks for the route...it was sweet! I think we lucked out by stumbling upon 83 and 284 after getting slightly lost.

I have some slightly bad news...

After we split off, I took 315N. I was dead tired and doing about 80mph in the far left lane. I noticed that I couldn't steer my bike. I was able to switch the far right lane and on to the berm and exited at Lane. I stopped and noticed my rear tire was dead flat. :( I putted home off the freeway. The rim is fine...there's a hole in the top of my tire. Luckily I didnt wreck or get a flat in Marietta! The tire was in need of replacement.

Can you PM me the route we took? Too many numbers to remember...

    Thanks again!

  6. Pm it me and phop5 and whoever else. i'll get back to you tomorrow night.

    you in C-BUS Zorro?

    yeah...cbus.

I'll pm the route later...I havent really thought it thru enough. I'd like to head in a general direction, and hit a few key roads. I'd also like to get lost and try to find some new roads.

  7. I think Phop and i are trying to put something together for sunday and monday. no plans yet. Thinking 555 on sunday. waitin on the weather reports. no plans on Monday yet.

I have a suggested route...but I dont want to post it. Fear the po-po.

  8. Oh man, that sounds like one hella deal. But I can't have Monday off. :(

If I could, I'd love to. Those are the fun rides. The no route rides.

I'm sure you could come up with a good excuse to call off by then!

  9. I know it's a Monday, but I'm taking the day off. I'm looking to see if anyone wants to ride. Ideally, we'd meet around 9am (after morning rush hour) and go get lost (I have GPS to find our way back). I plan on NOT going the speed limit and I plan on NOT staying on straight roads or 270...but I guess that's understood.

I'm up for meeting basically any place in Ohio. So if you Cleveland/Dayton/Cincy riders want meet, I'll drive more than half way.

I'll monitor this thread until Sunday evening. Feel free to PM me.

  10. LOL, I knew you were going to post in this thread. That Steelers emblem is like the sign they use to summon Batman. :)

You know me too well! A little football trash-talking always catches my attention, especially when Clowns/Bungles fans chime in. The Clowns haven't done anything since Jim Brown was wearing a leather helmet. The Bungles haven't done anything since...well...since forever! Ickey Woods retired and Boomer choked against the 49'ers.

Satan, feel free to lock this thread...as usual, Stillers win!

  11. Hmmm, I have a house in Dublin...3 bedroom. One bedroom hasn't been touched since my last roommate move out about a year ago. I'd consider a roomy...I charge 600 (cash) all inclusive (cable/internet/laundry/spot for bike/AC/heat/water/electric), comes with finished basement, storage, fenced yard, deck and english bulldog.

    PM me if interested...
