  1. I agree 100%. He gets very bent out of shape and tends to argue online on FB and in forums with people that have no clue about, well anything, and it tends to fan the flame.
  2. This was not directed twards you Pavo. Just tying to put out a fire that is going on behind closed doors right now.
  3. Well this turned into a shit show. For the record-I don’t have, never have, and hopefully never will have a personal problem with David. He is abrasive, yes, but he is a straight up guy. My input was biased previous conversations with those involved, and observation of the lack of any Switzer involvement in Dave's event. Nothing more. I was told something up front, saw not one Switzer car there, local or otherwise, got the cold shoulder from Dave, and put 2 and 2 together. I can only work with what I see, and I have the right to my opinion. It’s shitty Tym and David still seem to have issues 10 or so years since he left BR. David I am sure will build many potent GTR's in the future. At this point, it’s a bit of a saturated market tuner wise, so I do wish him the best of luck.
  4. They brought Skanks- They Called out the whole lot-and didn't get a race. As far as the internet is concerned-they are winning. Big time.
  5. It will be interesting to see what the trans puts up with. The car will have the top end-the first 330 (which is the trickiest part of getting those GTRs to work) will make or break it.
  6. All I got from this is- Alexandria Stack @AlexStackk
  7. Why is there less appeal in the 98? And you have me confused-is it an original v8 car?
  8. It may be a matter of opinion, but the only GTR on the JC level is AMS's Shop car, and I think Jamie made more power. :fuckyeah:
  9. No, Tym Switzer did not have any GTRs at the shootout. By number, its agreed (on the forums at least) that Tym has put out more built GTRs than any other one shop.
  10. Go Pro Action. First run was a shakedown @25psi-11.8@134 spinfest Second pass was 11.0@143 33psi (2.0 60 ft bog) 10.8 pass-go pro was dead! 1.88 60 ft. I am tempted to load her back up and try to touch a 9 before the baby comes, but we will see. :axe:
  11. Does anyone else find it odd that the most prolific GTR builder (in terms of volume) who's world headquarters is 10 minutes away, did not have ONE car there? Anyone else smell what I smell? http://i42.tinypic.com/8ze4nd.png
  12. What does the factory hood look like? Is the one on the car the "newer" style?
  13. OP- Do you have the factory wheels? I just cant get the sight of this thing with a 101mm on it out of my head.
  14. How light can you get these things?
  15. So, you lost your Job-then move, purchased a house with land, and are stoking a check to build a man garage. I am doing it wrong. Nice garage btw.
  16. That’s fortunate. I would hate to partner with Family in this business if they expected any kind of return. Do you have anyone else working for you in the shop? When would you be able/willing to take on fab work again?
  17. Post up! Did not take much myself- Went 10.8@142 with a 1.9 60 Foot with literally, a bunch of junk and 110% Duty Cycle. Great Shootout! Elvin and Miguel has some issues we will have to Sort out-all GrassRoots Vehicles stayed home. Only pic I have for now http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/Colt.jpg Video of Pass. Better ones to come. Thanks Goonie for that Vid.
  18. A little off topic-but is there really a good profit margin in this type of work? Buying new machines, purchasing materials, Rent, ect can get expensive in a hurry-let alone modding a built Supra. I know when I was with Shearer-it was a tuff boat to float even when we were moving 30-40 manifolds a month. How do you swing it? Does prototyping pay that well?
  19. Call me when you come up I will try and save pit space by the group
