Thanks! Really happy with the car, and I am 100% cinfident I could not buy more car for the money. It ended up 1500 less than the cheapest one I found in the county, and was on the way to OBX. Stock as aids besides tint (35/20). I have been looking around the forums-and it will get an intake, tune, and a muffler delete (thanks for the support-I was questioning delete vs. gut) and stay like that for a while. Maybe a turbo in the future... :dumb: Do you still have yours? May also lower and space the rear a few mm's.

Sell me your and buy an 09 up? :dumb: I agree. I have a buddy up here with an 11 with an intake, pulley, tune- made 6XX whp and went 11.6 on Goodyears. A lot of car foe the money! Is there any reason to think the 09+ will loose resale value quickly? If cost of ownership is the same over 3-4 years, I may as well get an 09+

Needs-"Fun Daily". Moddabilty is a plus, but not necessarily required. Back seats are a must-4 doors a plus. Reliability is a premium. Price Range- 15k or lower-paying cash. Anything more and I will just buy more rentals! Class, Comfort, Reliability, Speed. Pros of G35-LOVE the looks of the car, always have. Can be had well optioned for the 10-12k range. Cons-Seem to not handle mods well-400whp is "pushing" the stock motor from what I have seen. A little pricy to maintain. Pros of CTS-V LS6, DUH. 4 Door- Add turbo- make 600whop with the AC on. Cheap on parts Cons-Nice once go for more 13-15-It looks nearly identical to every other CTS on the road- even Beat V6's that your Mom's cousin drives-takes away from any "wow factor to be had. A few things make seem like a waste of a thread- 1) The link to a Super right wing "news" site, that proclaims "MAN ARRESTED" when he was never arrested at all. 2)When you look for more information, you can Google Ray Call, Raymond Call, Ray Call CCW, Ray Call Arrest.....the list goes on-and NOTHIGN comes up. Huh. 3) Reasonable suspicion as a legal term has less of a standard of proof than probable cause, and permits the officer to detain someone and frisk them for weapons. This is the set, match, and win here. Since no more info is available-we can’t determine whether he was in a private establishment or not (from the story, I would infer he was) but if a guy with a gun is asked to identify himself for the purposes of confirming whether or not he has a CCW, and he chooses not to just to be some internet hero-douche, then I am 100% happy the cops gave him the business.

I don’t know if I necessarily feel bad for this guy-there seem to be no place in my heart for rich guys with cool cars that are not “car people”, especially since it seems Forged did make attempts to rectify the issue.
