  1. This is Team Westside Hooligan's latest creation. Cliffs-AWD Mirage GT, Stock 2.0l, a lot of spare parts, on a $2010 Budget. This ended up being the highest placing Drag Race (2nd)/Autocross(4th) car to NOT win overall (2nd out of 52 cars). We didnt win thanks to the "car show" portion of the competition. (No, Im not kidding). Great times though, and we WILL be back next year.

Matt Step and Brian J. were driving for the Auto X. I was driving fore the last drag pass (the 10.8x run). Im glad the video came out, because I told them if the clutch held it would have went 10.5! If you dont know me I'm the Tan Man in the Cut off. This was lifting every shift as well.

Great times! And yes, the car will be out for street duty when we toss a 6puck in it.

  2. And the update.

Car did great in the auto-x, 4th only to cars that were wide as aids auto x queens, but we got DICKED in the concourse (car show) aspect. I drove it to a 10.82 my second and last pass, first 10 second 4 banger pass at the event, ever. Got a trophy. This was with a badly slipping clutch. It was 100% toast 2 passes later.

Car is a BLAST-and I am 100% confident it will go 10.4's with JUST a clutch, as the tune was conservative. Great time, but I all upset as I feel we should have been in first place overall. Oh well.

Another note-we have been invited to VIR for the Ultimate track car shootout. I think we are going to piss of a LOT of people down there. Also, we were the highest placing team in the history of the GRM shootout to NOT win overall (2nd in drag, 4th in autocross)

  3. After the team thrashed for 16 hours straight, a few clicks of the translator by the "Guru" and she fired right up for the first time last Tuesday. Dyno-then down to Florida Wednesday. This car is down right nuts, clean, built like a tank, and the Westside Hooligans' best chance at a Overall Shootout winner yet.

Good shit work by everyone. Colt domination back in FULL EFFECT.

    Cliff notes-

89 Colt GT- $2010 documented budget. (For the 2010 GRM Shootout)

    Full Tig'd Cage

Stock Motor+unkown cheap cams (speced to about a 272)

    2G Trans/used 2600 w street disc

    880cc/Cam2/ISB 20 G

Tuned by the "Guru" as I've been dubbed.

Made 455whp on a Mustang Dyno with a conservative "Florida Spec" tune at RIGHT NOW. 30psi on the street around 3700 in 3rd.

Matt doesn't get on here a ton and wanted me to post some pics. Got some videos of the dyno runs too so enjoy...

  4. I just bought a Jackson lifetime warranty th 350. Luke the owner told me the converters are made for them by ART CARR. They are 9.5" Converters. I have been waiting two weeks for a replacement converter from them after discovering the converter I got from them is .15" too tall from the baloon plate to the neck.

Have you had any experience with them before?

  5. whats your question about the converter?

Is is a 7-8 or 9 inch? And again, is it in the car still? I just spoke with Jackson, the warranty would not be extended to the new owner, so I'd like to know what Im getting into since I'd likely have to get another converter.

  6. Gauging intrest on my th350 foward manual valve body race built by jackson racing transmissions solid shifts and has all but 100 miles comes with 3200 stall coverter. Contemplating building a 400 with a brake for my boost build or going t56 price is 500

    How much sans converter?

May be interested either way. Can you link me to the people that built it? Is it still in the car?
