On the way down. Planning on meeting up with a group at bw3 around 10pm. See everyone soon!!!

Im going as fast ET wise as locals with HCI+ 150 shot LOL. Half of them think I was spraying lol The temptation is real! I have a buddy who works in marketing at Summit who wants to try and get some parts on the car. I think it s a pipe dream, but we will see. I am not paying $1000 for an IM and still have to source a big $$ TB. I know the extra power is there, Im just super happy with the car now as is. It helps that its parked net to an unguided zip tie'd missile that satisfies the "sketchy fast" desires

Yes front left- sounds like stab link? I didn't have any time into the car i just bought it for the Bro in law while he was waiting for BUDS since the rent's took his car away because the "didn't support the NAVY." Well, fuck them and HOOYAH! Car is sold

So, SCT is posting that Kil Kare would be available for a rain out day this same Sunday? Are you guys aware of this?
-
The large transfer as fine as long as you paper trail it.

Link to C list add. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/2007-pontiac-g6-gt-low-miles/6620236731.html CR price $1500. Bought this from my brother in law to drive before he left for the Navy. He put about 8k miles on it in 1.5 years. Owned by an older lady previous to him so miles still low. Full disclosure-need a wheel bearing (front right I think) and front 02 sensor. Scrape in front right and rear left. Other than that hop in and drive it to Florida. Super cold AC Delivery possible this weekend (going to SCT at Trails)

We did the same. Fun movie. Crazy that the first one came out in 2004

Thanks guys!

I've driven this to work more than my BMW over the last month. AC may be colder than the BMW too LOL Just ported heads, a Cam, headers/exhaust and a good clutch. Stock intake manifold This was the first and only pass I ran with the Traction Control off the whole pass. I was experimenting with truing ti off in various gears mid track- and this pass just decided to try it off from the rip. I also launched like an import. I held the car with the E brake and got the clutch slightly engaged to load the drivetrain. Obviously it liked it! I'm always down to jockey! Always easier to let' er rip when its not your car. Yeah it rained most of the day end then was like a 85' swap after 5pm. Anther funny thing there, the 4 cars faster than me all have intake manis and ALL where ran in NEGATIVE DA!!! The fastest NA SBE LS7 ran at a track rental on Jan 1. Its was 30 deg DA was -1000 LOL. I am tempted to mayyyybe try it out on a "record" weather day later in the season, but we will see what happens. Maybe, but this is far and above what I would have ever expected so Im way good. I likely wont drag it ever again- I enjoy it way to much in DD duty to risk breaking something expensive again! The real wild thing is there is still a lot of power left. Any aftermarket intake mani is good for 20-30hp, and E85 on these cars is good for 20-30hp. Erik at backstreet actually just tuned another C6z with a smaller cam than me, but with an Intake mani and e85. It made 50 mpre whp!!!!! Here is a overlay on that car vs my actual dyno plot.
-
Inadvertently set the no nitrous record for stock intake manifold on a C6z! And #5 on the overall NA SBE Ls7 all time list! Wow. And the DA was 2500+ Could not have done it without the guidance and record setting Tune from Backstreet performance.
-
I like it. Makes sense. I also think the new one "looks" better to me. We will see what happens! Ha! They would be good to have on the street . 2nd gear is currently useless from a roll.
-
My man! I'll shoot you a PM
-
Nice! Any vids of this car? Details on set up?

Swear! It helps that I have to borrow a drag radial, and have no plans to purchase a drag pack. Axles came, and crazy as it seems the old c5 axle actually looks like an upgrade. Physically the same size, but the output end looks like better metal, and looks to be heat treated! The c6z axle I broke looks like pot metal on the inside.
-
Thanks! Ha! Tempted to rear mount the Gt42 on the Vette and put the trash can turbo on the Colt. :megusta:
-
Broke it clean off at the hub. I dont fuck around! What would be perfect is traction control in 1st and off for 2-4. Is that an option with a track box, or within HP tuners? Its crazy that C5 axles are upgrades- but I have a pair being delivered today for $100, so I'd gonna' send it either way
-
So the stars aligned and I was able to borrow a pair or radials and take it to the track. Goal was 10.x @ 130+ Seems crazy being a simple bolt on NA car, but with the power, it should do it First pass- left ok, felt odd in second, then what felt like a soft limiter at 5500 in 3rd, and the same in 4th. No power! WTF? Shut it down a little after the 1/8th. Noticed the Trac. Control is FLASHING in the display. Dang! I forgot to shut TC off! but really, I have never had it hold the car back that hard before! Tuner thinks the shorter tires where a factor- and the sab control may have even been on the brakes if the car was full freakout. Somehow- the car still went 11.2@104! WOW. Now Im excited. Track was packed so I had to wait another 1.5 hours for a pass. I knew this was my last chance before I had to leave. And, well, I got a bit too excited. Left HARd- and broke an axle. Oh well! Funny as I told myself I would not drag race this car because I didn't want to fix it. Now, I cant wait to go back for that 10! Then Im done i swear!

Did you trade it in or did they buy it outright?
-
If its any help there is a guy up here with a real 2Jz- GTE he is selling for $800 OBo. has a rod knock
-
If anyone is looking at this sideways, I can assure you its legit. I have a few associates up here that raise money the same way, and offer similar returns. Brad do you have an attorney that can set up the paperwork and file it with the county? Will a lien be placed on the house you are buying or will this be unsecured credit?
-
Thanks all! DK for sure. Next time I may take it out if the Slowmotion Rental https://www.facebook.com/events/870927459698449/

Surprising day at Test and Tune yesterday. With the Gt42, if you miss a shift the pass is effectively over. Since it didn't want to shift into second over 7500, I decided to try short shifting 2nd gear to get it in and was surprised with the result! Short shifting the car caused it to take 5.2 seconds from launch to see 30+psi Lots of room for improvement basically everywhere. As it stands, it would probably go faster with the smaller turbo as the car sits. Would have been really interesting to see what the 67mm would have done with the 26's More to come.

There is no spin. I meant the school faculty. Its as simple as that. Saying "teachers" as a singulatiry is like saying its the service writers fault when your oil drain plug backs out and your motor locks up. Neither makes sense. Its still crazy that you are cursing the same people that ended up helping you. Again, you said you put a lot of time info finding a solution for your problem child. You did your job. Your proving my point that it starts at home. Some other parents may have written him of, and the kid may have reverted to a darker place where these "shooters" come from. Im not saying your kid would shoot up a school, Im just saying if you let it go, this is where it starts. But, you did your job.
-
You actually just proved my point, on several levels. 1) To better illustrate my intention lets replace *Teacher* with *the education system* which include administrators, counselors...ect. The counselor ID'd the issue. In this case, they may have fixed it. They did their job. So, that's a win for the system. 2) As stated NO ONE wants their kid labeled or acknowledged as being different. Your initial complaint is that he was "labeled" a trouble maker. From your post, it seems like that was indeed an accurate label. That is the "what", but not the "why". Now, if he was making trouble because he has a LEARNING DISABILITY, that was not initially diagnosed, thats a fail on the original school. But at the end of the day, he's different, he needed help. And if the different kids don't get help...once they get to high school, as we have seen, things have potential to go sideways. 3) As stated, IT STARTS AT HOME. My wife or I will do homework with my kids every night. You as a parent (and all parents) I would hope do the same, along with interact with them daily, OBSERVE them in social situations...ect. Through all of this interaction, you as a parent were not able to identify a speech impediment, and reading disorder. Though all of this interaction, you may have failed to see this. We as parents have to be able to see when out kids need help. No, that's not right. And as a parent its our job to make sure we do everything in our power to make it right. That's like telling a kid who's undersized "well kid, your small so your going to get beat up. Deal with it". LOL Common?! GTFO- its all starts at home!!!
