Its still the best fast DD I have ever owned. Total maintenance going on 4 years/50k of ownership is a set of brake pads, oil changes and a battery. If I keep It I think I want to flush the trans/T case/rear/brake and coolant. Pads and rotors-possible water pump and a preventative measure. HoboEvo. 165mph 1/4. 200mph 1/2. 9.5 ET. In that order.

Literally all parts stores have them in stock, on the shelf. Universal 5 lug. $20 a set. If they don't work, return them.

My uncle retired from Chevy making 54$/hr.+ full Medical+full pension. I've driven a turned up P100D and been in a 918 from a "dig". Here's my take I can honestly see myself driving a Tesla for a DD. If they allow privateers to actually fix them, I'd buy one used. That being said- it is fast 0-60. The"hit" is hilarious and brutal. But for a "fun" car I'm just not into it. I'd take my c6z bellowing unburned fuel and ludacris merica' sounds out of the exhaust any day of the week, even if its slower to 60. Its a visceral driving experience vs. what is effectively a silent roller coaster. For that reason, I don't dig the E copo but I get the marketing and brand awareness aspect of it. Now the 918 makes great use of the electric motors on the leave. I think the way it integrates the electric motors for initial acceleration will be mainstream in the next 5-10 years. That I'm cool with for a sports car. Super effective.

His Blue Supra will be at WCF. Funny, but it prob makes more than this lambo. :lolguy: Crazy to think that Jamies Lambo trapped what this one did 6+ years ago. Although, watching the video drivability is prob 100x better. There was a lot to be desired int he early big HP Gallardo Trans calibrations.

Some fun recent in car video after trying to break my $50 trans (I wont fix it if it aint broke!) Wont make any more power- Im 95% sure its just floating the valves past 42-43 psi. 42-48psi netted nothing besides more fluid in the overflow. I guess this is the theoretical limit of Ev08 springs and standard ARP head studs.

I built a few-all wood. Some Pre-Fab some Buy-wood-and-go. The DYI was always sturdier, but always more expensive. If you don't do concrete, you will always have some amount of moisture, or critter in and under your shed. I will be building one next year but my Fancy pants HOA requires it MATCH the house-siding and roof- so I may be getting pro help for at least the siding. Plan is something looking like iwashmycar with a 2nd floor. 10x14. 50/50 on doing a concrete floor.
