    Biggest race that never happened.... there was 10x more hype around the following races. fastest maybe but biggest no.

    Viper Joe aka- ponyfreak "burned up an ignition" trying to turn the wick up so he can have a chance against the Top End Supra. he does not think he will be able to fix it in time for the race, and the Supra will again be off to a new home soon.

    I spoke to the shop today and it looks like next weekend will be my last hurrah before the car goes bye-bye for awhile. It also looks like I have to shit myself some 96lb injectors and a driver-converter box. Yay for being over-budget.

     

    Sam, no money race. But same spot, next weekend (work schedule and weather dependant), 40-140 for kicks? My 12.5psi versus your 150 shot :cool:

     

    I have to get Derek to mount my old BFGs back on my Pro-Stars, these Pole Positions aren't cutting it.

    Removed the side impact bars from the doors, replaced the moonroof with a lexan panel, and a few other odds and ends that should bring the weight back to what it was without the cage.

     

     

    How heavy were the door bars in that pig?

    When you run around asking every-other-person to race and making a big scene, people take notice. Plus, not everyone likes to run for money, that's been pretty much established around here for years.

    I am going to assume you are speaking of my shenanigans?

     

    Yes, I try my best to get shit done, and get cars off the trailers they came on. Some people want money races, some dont, some roll race...ect. You just need to find that happy medium when there is a large amount of race prepped cars in attendance.

     

    The WORST thing are the people that come (to "the spot" mind you) in there modded cars, and say I'm not racing tonight". Listen, if you didnt come with a camera, and you not setting shit up, your not a designated blocker car, and you dont plan on racing-DONT FUCKING SHOW UP. Thats like going to an Asian massage parlor next to the Stratosphere and being surprised that someone wants to give you a hand job.

    you can run 11's on like a big streetport motor, and twins probably boosting around 15 with ported turbos. Just have to have a proper tune.

     

    very hard but im sure it could be done.

     

     

    Its was on a stock port, no No2.

     

    The right gas, and not being afraid to run more than 15psi makes magic happen. :cool:

    JP no i want more power. but unless i do a streetport and single turbo im not going to get much more outta the twins unless i up the boost to like 14 psi or so.

     

    Thats cool-I assumed you were on stock twins.

     

    Local guy went 11.6's on stock twins, but I cant comment on his other mods. Thats obviously balls to the walls boos though, and I know not everyone is comfortable running their cars like that (especially sporting a rotary motor!)

    No, an 89 Supra Turbo Targa 5 speed, in silly nice condition. $1500 and ready for big burnouts (pics when I get back from work).

     

    F-that RX-7, I aborted that project. Too much work for me. Maybe next season...

    Not for $14k, it's not, even with the low*er mileage.

     

    You are my guide in this world sir-I am TA stupid as far as pricing goes.

     

     

    He wants a WS6. 99 and up may be a possibility. On that note, isn't the WS6 just a suspension/apperance package?
