  1. Hard to beat the dollar per fun factor of those!
  2. Is Buckeye lake really a "no limit" lake? Like, does someone do 80mph rips in their Donzi down there?
  3. Just slam a 20v from your drill on there. It will be full retard for a solid 10 minutes.
  4. I hear you. We will see what the next few weeks brings. Like it or hate it, we are HERE now. Everything is canceled. We are under an unprecedented level of required containment.
  5. The Panamera has come out of the left field bullpen into the top 3
  6. You (and much of America it seems) is buying into the panic over a bad cold with a name.
  7. Fair point, but. Italy (60 million) US (327 million), so the percentages are far, far smaller. Also, 55% of ALL cases in Italy are in ONE city, which is exasperating the issue. Hospitals, 70 Main, 30 small or private, total, in Italy Over 6000 hospitals in the US. I dont think I need to explain the relevancy here, or a stance on how the US is better equipped to deal with this, and why it would never turn into an "Italy" situation. But, staying ahead of it is better than flagrant disregard.
  8. I get the Mini if you want something "neat and different", but there are better options before. As mentioned a 01-06 it what you want. Would rather have a higher miles 06 and a lower miles 07+. And besides, blower whine out of a roller skate is semi cool.
  9. Crazy you cant even see it. 19 confirmed dead so far. Sad.

I may have missed it, but what is your GOAL in moving there?
  11. Yup. But, yellow seems to be the least desirable color for c5 and c6. There is a Built, blown c6z, clean title, 29k miles for $30k and the guy cant give it away because is yellow. :lolguy: A LOT of deal right now int he 25-30k range for c6zs
  12. They are out there. Ask me how I know. Its still a consideration. I personally dont see the Black edition being worth a premium, and I am not convinced the market does either. I always consider resale with this shit.
  13. You can drive it home today playa! Just like the c6z, everything has a price c5/c6 really is a performance bargain in general. Really, I think a HIC c6z is the top of that mountain, morso that a Zr1 Yes, has a bump in carfax. The roof is PAINTED! What a savage. I almost think I would prefer it silver at that true coupe roof IMO is what sets this car apart. Clean examples with these miles fetch 16-18k but most boomers are asking well north of 20k IDK, but I like em' You have the SAME car nerd! LOL. This is just to scratch the itch for now, and I could not pass up the deal. This will be car 1 of 2. On the hunt for #2. At this point, the order of interest has changed. Right now, Im GTR, 911, R8. Several reasons for it, but that's where Im at.
  14. Well, in a odd twist I picked up a car to scratch the itch for a bit. A simply too cheap to pass up c5z, tastefully modded with rare Mod Red interior. This will not likley be the only car that comes from the sale of the c6, but it will def check the fun box for a while.
  15. Right LOL I hear you. I had a good convo with a good friend about this. def. had me thinking. Of all the car he has had/has now, the one he will give up last is the GTR. Also, 09-10 GTRs have been 50k for 5 years lol...bot sure they will go any lower really. i cant be frivolous though to not consider depreciation.
  16. Sadly, for this purchase I *may* be ok with all of this. (And if I am not, I will sell, hence why I need the depreciation protection ) This is more like buying a watch that a car. A Timex Expedition is indestructible and water-resistant down to 100M. Light, fast, looks good, It does everything you would want a watch to do. A Rolex Datejust is heavy, hard to read, and finicky to adjust. But, when you put that fucker on your wrist, which is more satisfying?
  17. True, but I wouldn't be buying this with "performance" as my primary goal. If it was, I would never have sold the Vette! No, Im not. Hence this thread.
  18. Random thought- Will the C8 bring DOWN the value of the R8? On paper, they are very comparable. We will see if one really stands out on the street once they are out. Is this a consideration? Or, will "R8 people" just never be "Vette people"?
  19. Understood! Funny thing is, I like the body of the V1 R8 better... Text coming on a semi related topic lol
  20. Swap is a PITA. Have to cut the firewall to make it nice.
  21. I like the 92-2002 body, but not for 25k+ that they are going for. The 2008+ has less appeal for me.
  22. Cant comment until I know the budget and intention (track rat, shit missile, semi daily driver? )
  23. Love the body lines. Hate the maintenance The Exhaust on this white one has me sold that the v10 is not mandatory. I drove my Vette to work pretty much every day in summer, and a few time is a week in winter. Mom works and stays at home, so she does most fo the hauling. And if we need to "divide and conquer" with the kids, I'll take the Bimmer! Man, that 2008-9 S63 AMG is about the most BAUCE car you can buy for 15k. WOW.
