  1. Thanks ya'll It drives dead straight really. As far as speed- its like anything else. You get used to it. Braking is a little sketchy. I am ALL IN as soon as I see the last cone and I still come into the last exit HOT lol Thanks. I'm managing the power now to keep traction and the drivetrain together. Gate pressure in first, 35psi in second, 45+ in 3rd and 4th
  2. DSM Shootout Prep. Leaving easy, checking the tune. Looks like its makin' some Powa. They actually kicked me out since I didn't have a Chute LOL. The hope is to cut even a 1.60 60 foot-and 8's are a possibility. Still on a stock trans/Tcase/Rear/Axes + 200 zip ties. Trans was refreshed with the help of R & D Motorsports in Amherst, Ohio and it is by far the BEST shifting trans I have had in the car. Wish me luck! Hope to see some of you guys there.
  3. Great daily- I miss mine! GLWS
  4. Im a manual guy till I die, but it is undeniable that the Autos are the best they have ever been. Fun, fast, and hold power. Even going back to the 09+ CTS-Vs. Look at the Hellcats and even new Mustangs, both with clutch packs can see 1000+ WHP
  5. Looking at the comments here and general online sentiment, I would say Corvette hit their mark. "Corvette guys" and a bit divided, but in general like it. At the end if the day- the 55+ Corvette community would have embraced anything they came out with. The majority of comments I see is "I never liked Corvettes, but I like this" which is what I think they were going for. So, its a win for GM. I cant wait to but a bus on one in my Z0SICK while bangin' gears and maintaining my manhood.
  6. Can you link me to that one if its till available?
  7. Ha! I'd have a beer with ya. I have a few Dyno videos but my GoPro was not charged so I didn't get any of the roll racing besides This was thew 998whp pull. Funny how monumentally disappointing 998 whp out fo a 123 ci motor you tossed together in your garage can be lol https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7ciVkqHdN7qPUqj7Xl_6zw Im here at 2:00 with some funny commentary. Thanks to Lucore for the video. I turned it down to qual for the 150mph roll racing class. 32psi was good for 150 traps, so I am pretty excited to see what I can do on kill this year!
  8. It was as fast or faster last year with a few 8 sec Honda and 3 cars capable of 7s. Nuts! Thats why I did 9.5 index last year. Competition was thick
  9. There was one there with a JDM turbo on it! HOT Dam!!
  10. Nice to see a bunch of old faces, and some new ones! What kind of times was mike running? I dropped out of the stick shift class after I shredded 4th in the roll racing finals.
  11. Even if it does not 6 any better- I have seen 11 sec cars lose .2 with a skinny up front
  12. I mean......... Your options are- baffle the pickup and over fill+accusump Or, drysump. Thats it lol
  13. Semi-Related, but was this one unplanned? If not, were you trying for a long time? I've seen couples try for 1 month, some for 8 years. It changes the dynamic of the conversation. The cliff notes version of this, shes a hormonal trainwreck. Take it all with a grain of salt-unless this has been a topic for a month and not just a fleeting statement she made as this thread suggest. But, in either circumstance, the best way to make it work long term is WIFE above all else. Family, Kids, Cars, all of it. After all, you literally made that legal commitment to it. May as well follow though lol. But for a more practical reason, if the marriage sucks-the rest of it will suck anyways.
  14. Put skinnies on the front and a real tire on the rear and I bet it goes 11s
  15. Mexico will be open Friday evening for those interested. I would be pretty bummed if roll racing was cancelled again this year.
  16. Hard to say without seeing the add? LOL
  17. It was a bit over the top- But my Son and I still liked it
  18. C list charges now? As much as I hate to say it, I have had the best luck later with FBM and offer up for selling.
  19. I'll be at both again this year. Last year I may hav ebeen the last to Dyno since they had to switch to AWD. Hope you stayed, cause it was worth the wait! Unfortuanly I did go to a smaller turbo for this event, but I will still try to crack 4 Digit WHP for the paporatzi. I'd like to do roll racing, maybe TnT. I am NOT doing that Street racer class- only because the organizing-mapping, and street drive (Easily 40+ miles) took out 2 hours of my day. What a waste!! Especially after the Roll racing was rained out. I avoided the stick shift class because there was 2 7 second cars, and a pile of 8 second cars. The stick shift class was the fastest class that day! No joke- but I may do it just to avoid the long street drive BS Dates have been out since beginning of the year, but their web site does suck. The Friday dyno day is LEGIT and goes late. Come out when your done hanging out with the old folk.
  20. This is accurate. i also agree with the 2 car strategy here. Get something you don't mind tearing up for CO back country stuff.
  21. I dig it. Now I really wont be able to afford a Ford GT
  22. And its a 5 speed. Worth mention in the add. If you were closer I'd scoop it up!
  23. From a scientific curiosity, that is cool.
  24. So, is it only FWD (or RWD)? And what are you missing for Auto Pilot? Sensors?
