    WTB - Pitbike

I'd consider selling my 2002 KX85 if the price is right...
  2. You probably should have read the article I posted before typing that reply, that is EXACTLY what they did. Christ.
  3. There are PLENTY of videos of day time roll racing in traffic from people on this site...
  4. and since you probably won't read all that I'll give you the only part you need to see,
  5. Take your own advice and do some research. http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/oiltest1.htm Just one of the many. Again, find me ONE bike that failed due to Mobil 1 extended life. You said it would be easy, you said you know how to Google it, get on it.
  6. Your car can't even hit high speeds, and you shouldn't be attempting it in an econobox. Ask Coltboostin how that turns out.
  7. So find it. I'm sure it's simple since car oil suddenly foams and is sub par for motorcycles.
  8. Roll racing takes about as much skill as taking a shit. Even on slicks there isn't shit to it, you might as well pull out dyno sheets and scale results. That's why you see so many people into roll racing run HORRIBLE ETs when they actually do get to a track...
  9. wat Do you have any proof of this or just hearsay? Considering there are TONS of racers using it I'm pretty sure you have no facts to back this statement.
  10. Prematurely wear? Like, before 22k miles? Right. Whatever you wish to believe.
  11. There is a guy that swapped a Series II 3800 into his GN... it runs some solid numbers.
  12. What compels you to post useless shit like this?
  13. Totally depends on your definition of street racing. To me, street racing is late night at a secluded industrial parkway with no traffic on a three lane wide road. To others, street racing is going from a 40 hit on the freeway over and over... Most of the deaths you see in the paper are idiots in Civics weaving in and out of traffic like jackasses and eventually hitting someone. I don't think anything has changed with true street racing (as what I define it as) over the years. I can't speak for others but I had an 11 second car at 18 and never had any problems. I've never been in a single accident in my life aside from jumping off the R6... age doesn't effect responsibility IMO. There are 18 year old kids that are more mature and make smarter decisions than 30 year olds. The one thing I will say that's changed, Americans as a whole are far dumber these days and less responsible. Everyone wants to blame their faults on anyone but themselves...
  14. I've got 22k miles and counting with not a single issue on a stock clutch, stock transmission and stock motor. I'm not the only one, there are plenty of racers that abuse their bikes quite a bit more than what mine sees and none of them have issues.
  15. Shocker sticker gets tits flashed at you. True story.

    Rat Bike

Coolest part is he used a Ducati dry clutch. Shit sounds awesome.
  17. It isn't true. There have been studies showing OEM filters are worse than the cheaper cross referenced filters. Simply because it comes on the bike stock doesn't make it the best... Granted, the stock filter will work fine but if you can buy a better filter for less money, why use the stock one?
  18. As long as the car oil does not contain molys (read: no EC logo) it won't effect your clutch. Look at your manual, it's in there. You seriously think oil companies spend all that money developing synthetic oils and they're sub par to motorcycle oil? It's called marketing. Me, as well as plenty of others have been running normal off the shelf car oil with no ill effect.
  19. Also, to stay on topic, the whole quick/fast thing is retarded to me. The words are synonyms - they mean the same damn thing. I don't see why you'd want to make more horsepower and less torque (I think that's what you're trying to say in the post anyway?).
