yeah I know, I was trying to see if I could help someone out if they were not able to make it, and save myself some money along the way. I have only ran 1 trackday before but I made it up to group 2 before the end of the day and was feeling pretty comfortable. But I think I still need one more novice under my belt before I move up to inter.

does anyone know who has a trackday for sale? i am looking for a novice group on sat or sun. i may be able to pull off a intermediate class, but kinda leary of it.

wow very impressed. beautiful bike with alot of experimental parts, i love the swingarm shock setup. when i read the description i was like haha thats cute some random person is trying to make a competitive moto gp bike out of his own garage. but this thing is amazing very professional i am going to have to tivo this show.

wht flounder said. if they are sold out check the stt forum. there are ussually people selling their trackdays there for super cheap b/c for some reasom they cant make it and there are no refunds.

i dint say the spectator wasnt important, i said its not always about the spectator. i know the importance, without the spectator it would be no different than club racing. from what i read it sounded like they were wanting a less defined class that would mix together the 600's and the 1000's into one class. maybe im wrong but that doesnt sound like racing that sounds like going around on the same machinery and see who's faster (NASCAR). i dont see why they dont follow a format that is based on the WSBK one?

AHHHHHH!!!!! people are idiots. racing isnt always about the spectator. even though it is good for us, we cant always look at what we want and you are not going to get more viewers by eliminating the top class. now 600's are top of the line???? you need a superbike class in order to build apon them and make them better. Organizers need to view the races as test labs on how to make what the consumer is getting more reliable, safer, more user friendly,etc. someone needs to be kicked in the back of the face.

hahaha. i flipped a car once and three months later, aka 5 days after i got my license back from my suspension, i got pulled over and ticketed for a 68 in a 35, another 3 month suspension some people just dont ever learn. i havent had a ticket in five years though, how i dont know. i have wiggled my way out of two good ones since. i couldnt ever do that to my bike though i enjoy her all to much. i have slowly been learning on how to push her in and out of the corners and drop a knee here and there. but im not gunna push it that much until i become super confident in my ridding skils. i dont think i could ever drop her and walk away sayign oh well. now to the point of this thread. my first bike.... my lovely 06 600rr. i am in love and its going to always be that way, i dont think i will ever get rid of her. now i am saving up for a 1000rr i have thought about replacing the 600 for the 1000 but 1. the 600 still has enough power for me. i just want the 1000rr for the cosmetics. and 2. i could never replace the 600rr.

thanks for the info. but just put the order in for a new set, the tires are getting here monday and i am going to slap the on tues, ride on them for a while and then im good to go. oh btw i may split away from the group on sat. for a while i have some friends that live about 2 hours away and i may pay them a visit. not 100% sure though.

yeah thats what i figured... just ordered a set of bridg. bt002's got a heck of a deal on them and i am now happy, just need to buy a back pack to hold everything...

question, is there a place to get tires down there or am i going to have to buy them now. i just got back from ridding and i knew my rear was bad but its more on the lines of questionable now. i dont want to destroy a brand new set with three hours of highway ridding one way. im trying to minamize the damage of the middle of the tire.
