In my not so important experience, there are people who are genuinely happy the troops are there. There are others who, for financial, religious, personal security or other reasons, resent the fact that we are in their country. The later are the people who you WONT hear from, unless they are trying to blow you up. They don't come to you on the street and tell you what they feel or throw stones at you. You have a weapon and an army to back you up...they don't (at least in broad day light while they are outnumbered). I base this on family members who have lived in countries that had a US military presence. One of my uncles was the equivalent of a senator at one point, and Muslim fanatics attempted to overthrow the government by force, trapping him for a period of time. I've been in the Army, but never deployed over seas. However, I have done a lot of traveling in my years on this earth, outside of just visiting for leisure. I guess my point is, you may think you're the best point of reference for a given situation because you feel you're in the middle of it.. but best believe appearances aren't always what they seem.

I agree ..I love Tate's drive ..work ethic and spirit..but his size has me worried. In the spread, the QB is going to take a continuous pounding. LOL..and yeah, that would be the tunnel. We got treated to the corporate spread on the golf course by Birds Eye Foods. They had a buffet set up with food that was surprisingly tasty. Famous Dave's even had some ribs there. I was impressed..and in a food coma by game time.

Pryor is going to pick apart the secondary. Ugh. Still...you never know. I'll keep cheering and hope the suck-eyes take an L. I'm not too thrilled about the way Rich Rod seems to be arguing with coaches and players on the sidelines. Ew. And either D Rob or Tate will be transferring. I can't see DRob staying with limited playing time, even though he needs a lot of work. The irony is that he is probably the better LONG term option because of his size and speed....IF he makes better decisions and gets accurate with the long ball. GO BLUE!!!

I loved the Atari 5200. The controllers sucked...but I had fun times with that system. I see a copy of 2600 Haunted House. Nice. I broke many a controller over that game.
