There wasa a guy, italian, at the dealer who has an 1125R. He said he owned metric bikes his whole life..raced at Mid Ohio for 5 years...and prefers his 1125 to all the others. I just can't get my head around the styling. Ew. And the vibration is a deal killer for me.

Yup. They discounted the bikes..but the prices were probably $500-$1000 over what other people are reporting. They don't even know WTF they have. There's 5 in the showroom. I asked the guy can I see the 1125 in red in the back..since he says he only has one or two in the back. I walk in the back and there are at least 10 Buell's sitting back there.

I saw a red one up here..still wanted $10K for it. EDIT: that was one that had all the luggage. The stripped down version didn't have a price..but I inquired and it would be in the $5-6K range.

I just got back from a Harley shop here...and they have tons of Buells. The pricing wasn't great, but if you walk in there with knowledge of better pricing ..I'm sure they'll cave.

I've got one running Tomato, and one running DD-WRT. I like Tomato better, but DD-WRT may be your can of worms depending on what you wanna do. Check Craigslist. Newegg is your friend too. It's worth the upgrade. Just follow the update instructions and make sure you have the correct version of the firmware. Piece of cake.
