  1. Thanks to those of you who were very nice to give your opinion. To the one ass in the bunch...well.... And Jeff you're right but I still like the black one so I wanted to still ride it on occasion and hopefully get it to the track later in the summer. You KNOW I need it! I didn't get another bike b/c I didn't like the 06 but b/c there was an addition to the family and it was needed (well kinda sorta). You've ridden them both and you even said you love the new one much better. I'm changing the oil in the black one this weekend and checking everything out. I may call you....
  2. No the 2006 has continental sport attacks on them that only had one track weekend and BARELY any riding from last year. You know from my ability on the track that they weren't worn at all. LoL.
  3. Well I went ahead and bit the bullent purchasing the white 2009 GSXR 600. I am so in love with this bike. Although the majority of you know I still suck at cornering this bike is extremely forgiving. My fiance and I were riding in hocking hills this past weekend and I wanted to ride my 2006 GSXR 600 back so I did. Wow what a difference. I used to love that ride but now have no desire to ever ride it again. The cornering capacity seems so much harder for me. Ray doesn't like it as well either but we're not getting another bike this year b/c of costs of wedding preparations. So after all that....does anyone know what the big differences are in the bikes? Anyone ridden an 06 and then an 09? Maybe it's just me. Would having the suspension done for the track on the 06 affect it? For the majority of you this may seem elementary but I'm still gonna ask.
  4. Yep that's me! Lame Sara....actually LAZY Sara.
  5. I second that. That's why I only went to about 2 or 3 at QSL last year.
  6. Like this idea but most tuesday I work at the nursing home after my day gig so I probably won't be able to make many. They (wing-its) still get my buisness. I still have friends that work there. And their food is still yummy. And thanks for inviting Jeff and I sucka!!!! Last time we went for mark's bday. Jeff, Ray, and I all sat inside and thought Mark and his 10 other friends stood us up then we found out they were outside. Too funny.
  7. I didn't read the entire thread but this is quite nice. The rooms at the westin booked up pretty quickly the closer it got so if we're gonna book this I'm in!
  8. What? j/k. Well Todd you know who I was pseudo dating at that time. He still has yet to pay me for his hotel room and yes I did find myself walking home at night alone b/c he was too busy chasin tail. BUT me not afraid!!!!
  9. B/C of my american express card getting me points i'm kinda stuck using the westin. This year it should be about free.
  10. I stayed in the Westin last year. The room was average but I paid $109 a night plus $30 a day for parking. My hotel was 2 blocks from everything and I walked back to the hotel by myself at 2am and didn't feel scared at all. Carrie and Ben stayed i a hotel on meridian I believe but I think there rate was $185 plus parking (i think...i'd ask them tho). hampton inn???? Don't remember. Either way any hotel close to meridian will get you close to the festivities and keep you from getting a DUI or paying a bunch of cash for cabs. Just a thought.
  11. Justin...you sure you want to camp? You're gonna be pretty far away from all the excitement downtown. Just a thought. Cab rides can be pretty expensive if you do decide to go down. I'm hopefully staying downtown again last year with Ray. Can't wait!
  12. LOL...I'm just loggin on! You're so silly. We totally need to hang out soon! :)

  13. Whitey...I'm so sorry for your and Robin's loss. Your family will continue to stay in my prayers. I am unable to take off Friday for the service but please know I will be thinking of you all.
  14. I know Whitey but with my 06 GSXR I should have had to drill through the plastics to put on the frame sliders. I opted to get another type (puig) but if you look at it from a frontal view they are uneven. I was wondering if suzuki made the bike that way again since I forgot to ask.
  15. Thanks Whitey! Now where the heck does Robin put her shoes? LoLz.
  16. Question...does anyone know if you can put on regular "no cut" frame sliders or do you have to drill a hole through the plastics for this one too?
  17. I'm not completely opposed. I did sit on quite a few bikes but this is what I'm probably gonna pick up saturday....
  18. Happy Birthday Kristen!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I pulled up a website of all women's jackets that had several brands. These were the ones that had some white in them. So your jacket's pretty durable? I thought you had a scorpion jacket? Ya and I am horrible in upkeep. LoL. I do like the shift too. I'm thinking of getting the 2009 GSXR 600. Ask has it waiting for me. I just have to go sign the papers. I'm still looking around for a better deal tho. This jacket would look pretty sweet with the white bike and my white arai.
  20. So I'm thinking of getting a new jacket this season. I'm probably getting a new bike so I wanted a new jacket that is safe. Any of you ladies ever worn these, gone down in these, or have friends that have? I like the white look but I want something that is gonna hold up if I down my bike. I know alpine stars is pretty good but I've never heard of this fieldsheer (kinda like the jacket tho). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Shift: Fieldsheer: Alpinestars stella ice: Alpinestarts stell tyla (my personal fav but most costly):
  21. Awww sorry man! That SUCKS! That scares me a bit b/c we're putting a shed behind our house this spring and I've been quite nervous about putting expensive equipment in the shed! GRRRR. People are so rude!
