I quit when I was 25 (i'm now 35). I was smoking 1 1/2 packs per day back then. The patch and wellbutrin failed me back then but I used a bunch of prayer and will power. Then about a year ago some things in my life started to fall apart around me (and most of my acquaintences at that time where smokers) and I picked up the habit again. I was SHOCKED at the prices of cigs. It has been a bumpy road but I haven't smoked since beginning of november (I believe). I started out with wellbutrin 150mg ER once daily and ended up on 300mg ER daily. It took about 3 weeks to completely stop and not desire the cigs anymore. One way to help is to figure out WHY you smoke. The James has a smoking cessation program that has you fill out questionaires and helps you figure out the reasoning behind smoking. Then they can help individualize a plan for you. Everyone is right though...you have to WANT to quit or it's not going to work. I do have to say that it's nice to not smell like a chimney anymore and I don't have to be embarrassed with a cigarette hanging from my mouth anymore. Plus now maybe I'll be around to see my kids grow up (if I ever have any of my own...lol). There are soooo many cancer associated with smoking not to mention cardiovascular disease. The wellbutrin my not be for you b/c there are side effects for every drug. You may have to try a couple of things b/f you find something that works just for you but DON'T give up!!!! You can do this IF you really want to.

ahhhh. Well I'm not as bad as my mom. About 6 months ago she literally asked me what the "world wide web" was. Bless her heart. She lives out in the boonies and has not desire to ever get herself a computer. I gave her my old PC and she still won't even get internet hooked to it b/c she thinks "big brother" is gonna be spying on her. LoL.

Thank you Justin. Ben I've never stated I was an IT person or knew a great deal about the internet at all. I am quite computer illiterate. Yes I know how to search wiki but why when I can type in a thread and have someone discuss the issue at hand. Isn't that what the forums are for?

I'm giving the mason jars back. LoL. She can have them back on the 30th if she wants. It's so nice to have friends that are willing to chip in. My bestest bud Jana called me last night and told me her friend was able to get all my linens for free as well. That's saving us $160. Everything has fallen into place so nicely. You are so right. It took me a long time to fix ME after my divorce. It takes two people to make a relationship fail and although I wasn't the one to make the decision to leave I helped in pushing him out the door so to speak. Ray is the most wonderful man that has ever come into my life. My ex treated me so poorly that it makes me so grateful for this new man and I've surely learned to take NOTHING for granted. Ummm ya.....I was stuck with close to 25K of debt from a marriage that lasted less than a year. He went back to living with his mom and dad at age 27 while I got stuck with the debt, paid for grad school, and worked full time to pay off his 2 motorcycles that I got stuck paying for. But we live and we learn. Some learning experiences are just more costly than others. Yes I'd rather have paid for all his crap that to have that type of person in my life right now. I truly believe that man's rejection is God's protection. I'd probably have AIDS right now had I stayed in that marriage from all the infidelity. Suck it Brian! I kid, I kid. And to think I was complimenting your hair and I get all this. Geesh. Hey when I see something I like I got after it. Motivation always pays off in the end. ;)

LoL. Thank Chris. And Todd...shame on you! Well actually I do have to give him the man of the year award for putting up with my crazy ways! I've been divorced for 5 years now Brian and have gone through my fair share of complete losers. Now I have the man that is perfect for me and we're gettin hitched May 29th. Yay! And Todd make sure you tell Kim thanks again for letting me use all her mason jars for the wedding. She says she has like 55 of them for me to use.

Thanks Everyone! I'm not on much anymore. Busy with work and wedding plans. I had a GREAT birthday weekend though with my parents, ray, and his kids. Sorry I missed the bike show. First time I missed it in a while. Hope you all had a blast.

And honestly out of all the bikes I've ever seen I think this bike has the sexiest ass I've EVER seen.

Who you calling crazy sucka!??!! Hahaha. j/k. Still got mad love for ya Todd! Yes it is a GREAT point unless that person was just showboating anyway. Maybe they should consider some track time or taking some lesssons....maybe not riding above their ability. I know I need SEVERAL more track days b/f I ever consider getting another sport bike. Cruiser maybe but NOT a sport bike. LoL.

And how much do you charge the slackers like me for a tune? I'm hoping to add some mods in the next 2 months but it soley depends on what Uncle Sam brings me in February.

Did I read right? Did someone say they were going to purchase this expensive of a bike when they have clearly totaled two other very inexpensive bikes in 2 months time when they were at fault. Is someone asking for a death with? LoLz. Just saying. This is a BEAUTIFUL bike and would love one myself. Brian777 and I couldn't get away from the display at MO in August.
