07 5.4L 3v noise on cold starts. I've been reading online about it for a few hours and have narrowed it to either the cam phasor or timing tensioner/chain guide. Bought it with the remainder of the factory warranty good through January. Purchased Fords add on warrenty where I pay a deductable. Dilema is that I do my own oil changes. Always use motorcraft filters and 5-20 oil. Will they hold that against me?

I should have elaborated. I don't want more control from the federal side. I think owners/operators should be able to have more control over who they sell/rent to without having to worry about discrimination claims.

I usually feel pretty safe shooting here because 99% of the shooters are LE/Mil. Then it only took all of maybe 5 seconds listening to a conversation to change my mind. I don't understand the fascination of the DE .50 but the range has one to rent for $10 a shot. To rent you have to show a very basic understanding of handling a firearm. Lock slide to rear, decock, remove mag, safe/fire selection using 1 hand. Customer could not show he knew what to do on an xd series and raised hell when the range operator refused to rent him the DE. You have to have a valid liscense and insurance to rent a car, motorcycle, boat etc. Why isn't there a requirement to show the same for firearms? The NRA basic pistol course is 1 day long and maybe $50. I am for ownership and minimal "gun control", but there has to be a way.

Pretty sure there weren't 21 spline cases made. Only 22 and 23. 90's are 22 spline 91-99 are 23 spline a common misconception on identifying them is that the 22 splines all have aluminum front cases where 23 spline have iron front cases. There are some iron 22 spline cases out there.
