I got it long before anyone else did. Since an M203 is worthless not being attatched to an M16/M4 family style of weapon. You win the technicality award of the year.

When you think about the typical mindset of today's media, it will be hard pressed to find any good story about the responsible gun owners/carriers stopping crime. Liberal media is quite anti-gun as you saw with the ABC bullshit from a few nights ago. Quite a few firearm magazines (Guns and Ammo, Glock's own magazine etc...) all speak of plenty of stories in which firearms saved lives as Austin has pointed out. There's plenty of un-told stories out there, I don't think we'll ever see it become headline news, for drug related shootings are obviously that much more news worthy.

It's like running 87 octane on a performance vehicle. If you owned a peasant rifle (AK47 and varients) you'd have no problem, but AR wise I stick to XM197/Military grade 5.56mm. Some folks may say otherwise, but I'm not about to put inferior ammo through my weapons.

I do and I might tell you. Defense ammo is usually availible, the hardball is the tough to find at the moment. I've got some 9mm/.40/.45 hardball coming to me this weekend.

Scrap that .223 and pick it up if you can. It's worth it to say the least. Boils down to $0.44/Round, or $217.50/500 which really isn't bad either. I might try and get on that myself.

Nope I save that for the end of world/zombie/revolution pile. I'm not sure if it's sold commercially, but I would like to get ahold of some Mk282 77 grain goodness. I'll have enough AR's shortly to suit all my needs, before I step into the M14/M1A realm. If I do find some more M855, I'll probably part ways with it.
