  1. Opinion poll, not by a panel of judges.
  2. GMG 2nd, that's awesome! Jr had a killer setup, congrats to both teams.
  3. Partial to Gas Monkey, but Paul Jr's bike is quite amazing. Not a fan of Sr's or Jesse's bikes. Gas Monkey is actually brining a Harley, so that in itself speaks volumes.
  4. Voted. I think more pics would do her justice too.

  6. Marshmallow man suit is fun with moon boots on. We played "don't step on the tan Italian mines." (Thanks Republican Guard)
  7. You half way worth a shit in math? Ever set any charges, or played with demo? Your memory somewhat photogenic? If you can answer yes, I don't see you having a problem. You may have to do CEHC, CEH-S at Ft.Leonard Wood, but most of the Army's EOD is at Eglin AFB after Redstone Arsenal in Alabama (10-weeks). If you do good on written tests and go/no-go stations, you should do ok. You don't need to be a fucking genius, but if you're a sub 50 ASVAB, go be a 12B. ( You can land some amazing schools at Ft.Leonard Wood and Ft.Lee like master breacher course etc...) If I had the chance again, I would've re-up'd and gone EOD like I wanted to. Job security is always there, and deployments ain't big Army long.
  8. Check out Rudy Reyes aka Apolcalypse Man (I believe that's the name of the short series) They filmed it in Detroit and it sure looked like end of the world type scenery.
  9. Suspension over 100K needs addressed like the air ride. Solid setup for a 4WD family hauler.
  10. Only reason an Arsenal AK will be in my collection come January.
  11. Damn commie guns are good for muzzle report. Just don't want to see anymore of those muzzle flashes aimed in my direction. Seen enough of those to last a lifetime.
  12. The Herter's stuff, brown bear, CCI aluminum cases rounds tend to be a no go in my world. Federal, Speer, Winchester, Remington..... Can't go wrong. I've found some of the federal is a hair more dirty in .45ACP, and Fiocchi likes to load a hair on the hot side. Last box of Fiocchi I ran in my old S&W 5946 threw out some impressive muzzle blast.
  13. Not a huge price jump between 9mm and .40 S&W. Then again, it depends on the type of ammo you seek. You can score bulk ball (target ammo) for fairly cheap. Sub $20 for 50 rounds is pretty decent in my book. Defensive rounds are a different story, ie Jacketed Hollow Points etc... Everyone will have their opinion, but I'm a Speer Gold Dot fan. Ball ammo, doesn't really matter too much. I have a mix of Remington UMC, Speer, Federal, Winchester white box. I find my Glocks eat everything, so it's not too important other than my .45 ACP is all 230 grain. Find what cycles in your firearms, then start stocking away.
  14. Depends on the caliber, but palmetto state armory, cheaper than dirt, lucky gunner etc.... I store most of my ammo in MTM ammo cans and some NATO metal cans. I keep it dry and in the closet.
  15. Cabin in Oklahoma. Bonfire and drinking sounds good to me. I'm too old for loud places and hipster douche bags.
  16. I keep a stockpile of M855, M118LR/M80 (7.62), .45 ACP, 12 gauge buck/slugs, .22, and some 9mm. I'd say the latest numbers are north of 1,500 per caliber as a steady inventory. After the house purchase, I'll concentrate on reloading and other calibers like .30-06, .30 carbine, .303 British, 8mm Mauser, 5.7X28mm etc....
  17. I have a stock M1A, and one that is in pieces for some upgrades. I have a few AR's as fail safes and a reason to arm individuals of my discretion if the time were to arise. If I like a certain company, it works well, I have experience with it, I buy multiples. Everything in my closet has a purpose.
  18. In slow motion http://cdn2.cheaperthandirt.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/cgblast-copy.jpg
  19. You mean not like this? http://www.documentingreality.com/forum/attachments/f149/34075d1234825524-thumb-vs-s-w-460-magnum-dumb-thumb1.jpg Or this happens: http://www.borasps.se/extra_pict/460xvr_thumb1.jpg 460XVR wins.
  20. I watch it, but some folks are a bit far out concerning their reasons for prepping. To each their own, but being prepared is never a bad idea.
  21. Troy Industries, TAPCO, Archangel stocks.......the list goes on.
  22. Ditch the M&P 15-22. The Ruger 10/22 Carbine is what you need. If you look at it closely, the loosely based it upon the M1 Carbine in operation. - Magazine fed - Thousands of parts to make it a tack driver - Fires damn near anything put in it - Accurate enough out of the box - Did I mention you can change everything on the rifle? I got another one for Christmas to give me a rimfire project. If you have to have an "AR" style .22, save the $, buy a 5.56 AR, then a .22 conversion.
