  1. Done and same goes for you Chris. I have no problem with sharing a few.
  2. The place I talked to should get a large shipment in within the month. People are grabbing the BX-25's faster than anyone can stock them. I reserved 10 mags with the shop I spoke with, but I may go up to Cheaper than Dirt this weekend. Prices ain't so bad in the retail location as to what you see online.
  3. I've never been duck hunting, but I got a friend's brother who's going to take us out in Louisiana. Been dying to get into it, just haven't found a time or location. There are guided hunting trips you may want to look into as well. Get comfortable after a few trips and then venture on your own. Worth the money to pick a professional's brain for tricks of the trade.
  4. Off. I'd rather my vehicle not cut power to regain traction.
  5. I need to check if they're back in stock. More were due in 12/28. I'll keep my eyes open for the next gun show coming up too. There's quite a few around here.
  6. That's what I was thinking. She could do the world a favor and fall down some stairs..........over and over and over again.
  7. Midway had them before Christmas, but limited each customer 2 mags each. So I made 3 orders. I'll call a customer of mine that runs a gun store to see if he can score me some.
  8. I would, once my other orders arrive. I have a spot I plan to hit up Wednesday, he's always got something in the back.
  9. I need to go pick up 3 orders of them at the UPS store. I ordered 6 BX-25 mags about 2 weeks ago.
  10. Just an FYI, Troy Industries and Tango Down both make very good polymer magazines. Pmags aren't the only thing on the market that works.
  11. I did the same. I've always liked their stores and shopped there for all kinds of items, but told them I will no longer drop a dime in their stores due to their rash actions. I told them if they were truly concerned, they could've donated money for the families of the victims.
  12. I hope Troy brings forth a lawsuit in this situation. I'll admit that the $799 Black Friday deal was awesome. I don't think DSG fully understands how bad they shot themselves in the foot. I used to shop there myself, but refuse to deal with a company that would lower itself to look good. I'll stick to Sports Authority, Academy or the usual Cabela's for my sporting goods needs.
  13. Even better story from Dick's Sporting Goods: Troy Defense (Troy), a division a Troy Industries, Inc., was deeply dismayed and shocked to hear through national media outlets that Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG) made the decision to stop selling the Troy Carbine along with other modern sporting rifles. DSG did not contact or inform Troy of this decision prior to notifying the public. Nor was Troy informed by DSG that cancellation letters were being sent to customers, set to arrive on Christmas Eve (a day Troy was closed). Troy has invested millions of dollars in its facility and operations to bring its first ever modern sporting rifle to the market under an exclusive contract with DSG. In selecting DSG as the sole distributor of the Troy Carbine, Troy relied on DSG’s high sales forecasts and sales potential prior to undertaking the significant financial and corporate commitment necessary to design, develop, manufacture and bring a new modern sporting rifle to the marketplace. Based on DSG’s press release, DSG’s anti-gun stance is clear – DSG will not continue modern sporting rifle sales and Troy will sadly not see its Carbine readily available — despite the outlay of millions of dollars by Troy and its commitment to support DSG in its distribution efforts. Troy is currently researching other channels to ensure continuous and consistent distribution for its rifles. But please note, Troy’s pricing to DSG was based upon volume sales. It is unlikely that pricing to any other outlet in the future will support the pricing granted to DSG. Troy understands the anger of certain DSG customers whose purchases have been cancelled – you got a great price from DSG. However, Troy, itself, cannot come anywhere close to offering the Carbine at the price DSG was offering it. DSG devalued and diluted Troy’s brand when it offered for sale the Carbine at a steeply discounted price during Thanksgiving week. As a result of the sale price set by DSG, DSG oversold and overpromised its inventory. Nonetheless, the current ill-will could have been avoided had DSG not terminated modern sporting rifle sales, promptly canceled overpromised orders, and forthrightly communicated with Troy. Troy is hopeful that it will soon identify a new distribution channel for its Carbine. We ask for your patience and support during this difficult and transitory time. 14. Have never seen the other side make any proposals seeking gun control. :dumb:
  15. Let's post that again - IGNORANT DEMOCRATS.
  16. I haven't bothered going to their retail store 30 minutes from me. They can go fuck themselves like Dick's Sporting Goods. That's another company I hope will go out of business shortly.
  17. I'll make it 62, 77, 147, 150, 168 and 173 grains to make sure I cover the spectrum.
  18. Anyone else get anything cool? The woman scored me a multi-caliber cleaning kit, Ruger 10/22 carbine, soft case, and a Cabela's gift card.
