  6. thanks for the attempt im wicked retarded busy tmr and friday im in dayton. its what ill end up doing, but after i asked the peoples
  7. no, its was like a machine shop, or a fastener shop or a metal shop.... nothing in the name suggested bikes. it came as a recomendation, but when you walked it was obvious a bike shop. one of the guys built prototype/race engines. he had a sick buell , aprilla or triumph... we got into a conversations about how we both like low rpm bikes because its morefun to ride on the road..and how you rarely hit 13-15k on a daily ride to work with these high power bands jap bikes
  8. i went there last yaer, but lost all my contact info. its in the area of powell/dublin around sports ohio off of cogsgray. the two guys wher awesome, and i want to go back. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=EN&geocode=&q=sports+ohio&near=powell+oh&ie=UTF8&ll=40.100545,-83.188509&spn=0.004005,0.009999&t=h&z=17

so its been a while since ive been on here , and since then i got a new bike. 1977 kz1000 off a good ol boy down in dayton. since his wife died a couple years ago all he does is work on and restore Bonneville's and kz's. hes a retired sunoco pipe line maintenance man its cammed, 4 into 1 vance and hines full exhaust, podded original carbs, jetted, and some cosmetic stuff. for a 30year old bike it runs exceptionally strong and is k e l e a n clean. i love the look of this bike, cafe raceresq ( for a late 70s 1000 at least) is big, but not so big i cant ride it comfortable in the city, but able to ride a couple hours with out breaking my back. id liek to hook up with guys who have worked with these before. the kz's were the bussa of their day and know they are capable of some great gains.. but i dont want to arbitrarily start in on a project with no end goal.(we all know what that leads to....$$$$). Id love to hear about what people ahve done with theirs. its seemsthat everyone over 40 who is into bikes remembers the kz's.

Def a true story, and one hell of a show! all the blood that escapes through the hole in the heart sits in the chest cavity and coagulates(turns from liquid to jello) when the chest cavity is opened(via the rib spreader you see in the picture) youll see the residents scooping handfulls of coagulated blood out on to the floor. and yea since a thoracotomy is a last ditch effort, most all of them are for education purposes! little a&p review with hands on experience for whom ever wants it.

to plug the proverbial dike. if someone get shot stabbed or through a blunt trauma and they end up with a hole in their heart, the quickest way is to crack the chest, plug it with you finger...you can also massage the heart, pushing blood through it trying to circulate blood to the body, and internally shock the heart if the heart has a conduction problem (as opposed to externally shocking the heart delivering electricity through the skin). That tong that looks like a poor excuse for a hotdog tong in right of the picture is used to deliver electricity directly to the heart... its just that easy jeopardy fact of the day: the first The first successful 'prehospital' thoracotomy and cardiac repair was carried out by Hill on a kitchen table in Montgomery, Alabama in 1902 (Trauma.org)

Its the level on trauma center that you aren't referencing (damn HIPAA). did a 17hr shift yesterday and got to watch a thoracotomy (chest getting cracked), put my hands inside him and actually massaged this guys heart. what do you do for OSUMC

hey hey hey new to the site (finally came over from Columbus racing) Ive got and had an 87 honda nighthawk that i rebuilt in highschool. Now that college grad is around the corner id like to pickup a "new" bike. a friend just picked up a 07 ninja600 and took a spin on it...what a machine...tons of torque for any bike, muchless a stock 600! a little about me im into firefighting, para-medicine and i work at a level 1 trauma center in columbus...so i hope not to see any of y'all soon! i worked at ask power sports the summer in between my senior year of HS and frosh year of college and had a blast, really got to absorb alot. ever since then i have been heavily into bikes. i also have an auto circle track racing history (two year on a coors cup team up at mansfield motor speedway)
