  1. Yup, Carl is a stand up guy. As well as the other guys at northern ohio ducati
  2. The standards suspension is no slouch with marzzochi forks and sachs shock. I may have to respring the shock, but i wont be able to tell till we are full gear and luggaged up
  3. not sure, should probably get a couple gallons to start
  4. Has a powerlet outlet on each side of the bike!
  5. no not the S model this is a standard model with ABS and Traction control the S and touring models have the Ohlins TTX elctronic adjustable suspension mine still has the adjustable, ABS, DTC, and power modes i jsut didnt feel comfortable with electronic suspension in the long run, hasnt been out that long on the multi, and if it goes bad im sure its SUPER expensive to fix
  6. if your doing it by hand put a towel, rag something around that area, i have rivetted shit before and when it snapped the rivet, it was so tuff i jerked my hand and it put a scratch in the surrounding area
  7. got delivered today at noon, on time like they said. pic of them unloading the bike. here she is in her new home.. im in love with the pearl paint on this thing. i had bought a MIVV mid pipe for it from Dubguy's dad, great price and in great shape. got that installed before i even took it for a ride comparo of the MIVV mid pipe and stock mid pipe with KAT exhaust before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfeepsSXspo exhaust after MIVV midpipe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWa1gh4Y5yY This bike is purely amazing.. more power than you could wish for on a touring bike. just pure power all the way through the RPM range. in sport mode the throttle response is unreal! the bike is amazingly light, over the top nimble, and very confidence inspiring. i hit the traction control a few times which is a different feeling, but a nice feature. this thing will carry the front wheel if you roll on 2nd gear, scary power! in touring mode the power delivery is very smooth, and perfect for when i have the wife on the back. jsut makes the ride more suitable and not so twitchy. i dont think i have smiled so much on a first ride. i just couldnt help it, i was grinning ear to ear. laughing histarically inside my helmet. im dying to get this down in the twisties in south east OH. i know i cant really give a full spectrum review cause there isnt alot of good roads to hit in town lol.. but round and round the round-abouts was making me giggle. i only rode it a little but this thing is just AMAZING!
  8. its actually over 900 lbs.. probably closer to 1000lbs on that model. and yes its pathetic the power they put out, but thats not what they buy them for. but i think $40k for any bike is ridiculous, but more than anything, a screamin eagle harley. you can buy the same model bike that isnt a CVO/SE model for 20k less and have a nicer looking, better running bike. you can dump 3k in suspension (which they need terribly) and then do 6k in motor mods, big bore to jump the stock 103ci to a 110ci, cams, exhaust, intake, etc. and make similar or more power. have a more custom bike fitted to your needs and spend less money. having the my harley attracted alot of the HD guys around, and it was funny hearing them talk about hp numbers, how the bike handles, etc. i laughed quite a bit. thing is most of them and by most i would say 80-90%, have never ridden any other brand. so they dont know what its like to ride something more capable. but like i said its not about that to them. im still not gonna hate though. there are brand loyalist for every brand. Harley is just the most extreme case
  9. buying the wifey new gloves so these are for sale Womens shift Leather motorcycle gloves size 9 fits like a small they are in great shape. $15 sound fair?

  11. ill put the word out to anyone i know the harley guys will throw down the big money on there bikes for sure. i dont know who does C&A Harleys tuning, but you might want to give them a call and see if they need a tuner guy
  12. 110 SE motor? that is alot of money for not alot more bike.. CVO Ultra i assume.. what like $38k or something? id rather do a Street glide for $20k and dump a SE 120R motor in it for 8k and still have less money in it
  13. these are probably the best riding glasses i have worn. fit really nice on the face, great styling, and best of transitional. so you dont have to carry 2 pair of glasses around anymore. Sleek and stylish eyewear with photochromic lenses so they can go with you in all lighting conditions Frames around the face have a slight “cup” on the edges to minimize wind disruptions without the need of foam The lenses are photochromic starting with a light tint and transform to a medium grey in bright light Shatter resistant, 100% UV protected lenses http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/5/15/149/19171/ITEM/Bobster-Photochromic-Hooligan-Sunglasses.aspx $25
