  1. When I get around to it I will lol
  2. some parts came in from Honda Marysville.. Protaper Evo bars protaper oversized bar mounts Dunlop TT93GP tires sunstar 14 tooth front sprocket still waiting for the battery to show up. my K&N filter came in from ebay as well the pod filter replaced the huge/ minimal flown airbox the weight savings pile ProTaper Evo bars installed these Dunlops should do a little better than the stock Vee Rubber tires lol yes the Grom is in my house, made it a little more comfortable to a few bolt ons, having it in a spare room lol. I also got the shift pattern set to GP shift now. so only thing left at this point is install the featherweight battery, order the Racetech fork springs and valves, and order a Bazazz. Dyno Brian will be doing the tuning.
  3. i would assume those are ride wright wheels
  4. Pauly, ill see what i need to give you as referal and pm you as soon as i find out
  5. Got a chance to out the rearsets and brake line on. The stock rearsets weighed in at 2.7 lbs a piece The SBL ones weighed in at .95 lbs I think the will break apart first crash lol. We shall see how that goes. But you can see the difference in position. A lot farther back and about 1" higher maybe more, from the gound the measured around 9.75" (as steady as I could hold the bike and take picture at the same time).. The stock pegs are think and have a nub for feelers. The SBL's like I said, farther back and up, they measured around 10.75" from the ground. Brake line went on smooth, added some motul rbf600 and bled.
  6. Totally gonna sticker it up. Actually marysville honda is doing a graphics kit for it, part of the deal. 55s at thia point look like a long shot. BUT, if first practice out i can get 58-57s. I think its doable this season. Again, no one has had one at crp, so this is gonna be a learning curve, and r&d year. If things go well hopefully more will get a Grom and there will be a grom class
  7. UPS threw these on my doorstep today. SBL Rearsets Coremoto Braided front line
  8. i really need to ride a Moto Guzzi California.
  9. I know your doubts chris, i have them too, but untill its on the track i wont be able to truely find out what its capable of. Hence why i said hoping for 55s Im also hoping that with the more modern suspension, brakes, and fuel injection. It will help it around the track
  10. Its all gonna depend on seat time with it. Im gonna try to get as many practice sessions as i can
  11. I've used HEL, Speigler, Coremoto, and Galfer. honestly any will do. I do prefer spieler because they are an ohio based company, right out of dayton
  12. and a video crappy quality but you get the idea
  13. so ill be racing the Grom with OMRL this season. right now it is going to run in F3 class. I they are unsure right now if the the Grom will be aloud to run exhaust and air filter mods, but i decided id go ahead with it anyway, and we are gonna use my bike as a test mule for if it will still remain in f3. Here is the cool thing, Honda Marysville is actually sponsoring my bike the season. Very awesome of them. They are supplying me with some of parts to help out this season. Also I gave a call to Oliver, owner of sportbikelites.com to ask him about the billet rear sets they offer, and we started chatting and he ended up hooking me up with rear sets and brake line @ cost. so what have ordered so far.. Ohlins Shock (thanks Riders Discount) Tyga Moto Maggot full exhaust (thanks Ebay) SBL Billet adjustable rear sets (thanks Sportbikelites.com) Core motor Braided front brake line (thanks Sportbikelites.com) and thanks Marysville Honda for.. Dunlop TT93 GP tires Protaper EVO bars and mounts WPS featherweight lithium battery JT 14 tooth front sprocket still to be ordered are.. k&n pod filter Racetech Gold valve kit and springs Bazazz ZFI and dynotune so a big concern for me with the Grom is the weight. its 225lbs wet, the other bikes in the class around around 164lbs. the other being gearing, which i won't know the outcome till i get to track. pulling off the rear license plate holder/fender/turn signal assembly dropped 5lbs off the bike. The headlight assembly should net me another 6-10lbs of weight reduction. tonight i installed what parts came in.. the ohlins shock and full exhaust old exhaust weighed in at 11.10lbs new exhaust weighs in at 3.25lbs
  14. umm or wants one? Marysville Powersports got another Grom in stock. they have a black and a red one. You fools who want one get down there so there are more idiots on them during the deals gap trip
  15. my buddy had a Diavel Carbon. cool bike, but nothing i would own. We traded bikes for a bit, and he didn't want to give my multistrada back. I couldn't wait to get off the diavel. it was weird handling, the big fat rear, although it handled better than expected, it definitely had a ledge like handling.. slow to turn, then it would just drop in. no wind protection at all, and awkward riding position to me. not cruiser, not sport, not even standard really. but Tons of power, and the brakes are freaking amazing
  16. Crf250L or cbr250r Id love a dual sport, but id like to race a 250 cbr in wera
  17. looking good man. should be fun at the track.
  18. i did not, but your welcome to go by the last one they have. BTW my full exhaust should be here next week
  19. this is pretty sweet http://imgur.com/a/Dt6JC
  20. Been a while, but did a little more work on the bike.got the chrome cases switched out to black. now debating wrapping the pipes.
  21. first off i rarely write good things about dealerships so this is a rare thing lol I popped into Honda Marysville Motorsports today (bought my Honda Grom from them) to talk to the GM Conor. They are a site sponsor now, and he is the one behind the screen name. Had initial stopped into to discuss some other things, but we went from that conversation to a totally different one that was unexpected and i really enjoyed it. I was expressing my thoughts and concerns about the dealership and how things are run and what not. Overall i never really had a terrible experience with them anytime i had stopped in the shop, but thought there were things that could be better. Conor expressed great interest in anyways he could make the experience at HM better. Conor is a pretty cool dude to talk with , and very open minded to things i had to say. He also expressed to me things i really didn't get from the sales guys. Things he is trying to push the sales guys to do. The personal experience and bonding that should take place in visiting the shop. Sharing not only the buying experience, but the passion of motorcycles, and the family atmosphere that goes with it. He had a lot of questions on how to do things on OR.. basic stuff like where to post certain things, and where to put what posts. He wanted to make sure he was following the forum rules, and also wanted to give the most he could to our community. i gave him a few ideas for things he could do for the site and events that Ohio Riders might be interested in. He had a great idea as well. Having one of there certified techs answer questions on the forum, and put up diagrams or things that would help forum members. Along with Forum member discounts for parts and accessories. Overall it was a really nice long talk and i enjoyed it. Very surprised at his attitude and willingness to really be a genuine part of our motorcycle culture. So expect some good things from him, and if your around Marysville you should stop in and bullshit with him and some of the other guys there.
