  10. put a decent little sound system on the Pioneer. Polk DB 5.25 component speakers in custom made waterproof enclosures. made them out of PVC pipe! they powered by a Rockford Fosgate PBR300X digital mini amp. i made a bracket to mount a plastic box that holds the amp and wiring. turned out pretty good, sounds awesome. then the wife and i went exploring, and well it ended up being a lot deeper and more mucky than i thought. she sank it real good, and that was that. high centered and buried. So a winch is next on the list. and after about 45 min with the hose
  11. this is actually not true. Cold temps, even below freezing do not affect Lithium batteries. and i only say this because i listened to a 45 min interview with the owner of Full Spectrum Batteries. I learned a lot about Litihum batteries i did not know lol. And if you lost any charge on the battery while it was sitting in your room unhooked, then something is wrong. Lithium batteries have a year shelf life without charging. only way it should loose any charge is if there was a draw on it.
  12. haven't got to mess around with the Pioneer much so i went exploring a little bit today. found a short climb i was having a little fun on.
  13. that i won't do during the meet and greet, but i can take care of that if you need it done.
  14. I'm open for date suggestions. i figure people would want to wait till its warm out.
  15. i also heard they are widening the trails, and heard they are making the width limit to 60" or something. any truth to that?
  16. Already have another trailer lined up. Thanks for the offer though
  17. i towed my multistrada and connie 14 on that trailer with my subaru wry to deals gap and back. so yes i think you'll be just fine
  18. selling my 4x8 trailer. I'm buying a larger one needed to haul my SXS that i bought. this is a HF Heavy Duty, non foldable trailer, will hold up to 1750lbs picture is from when i first got it finished. has thick plywood decking, i welded all the frame together when i built it, and painted over all the welds. has a spare tire holder, and a spare tire, has a plastic, waterproof tongue box i picked up from TSC ($100). i also have a spare set of bearings and races packed in grease in a plastic baggy that will go with it. it takes a 2" ball. wheel chocks and D rings will NOT come with the trailer, as i will be transferring them over to my new trailer. asking $350, which is cheaper than you can buy just the trailer for. this is a really good trailer, pulls really well, i took it to florida and hualed 2 GSXRs, i haul my multi and a connie 14 to deals gap, and i have used it several times taking the mini bikes or super moto to CRP. id keep it if i didn't need something bigger. and i don't want several trailers taking up space.

    OMRL

ill be racing F3 with the Grom, and if there is a Grom class ill race that too. I'm hoping to pick another XR up as well
  20. the reason the reviews are terrible, is because its what is expected. every other touring bike is loaded with power. thing is though, the new strom is priced right, and lower than its competitors. so if you want a reasonably priced touring bike, with adventure bike feel, and some cool electronic features, whats not to like about it? yeah its not a power house, but its a touring bike, not a sport bike. to each their own i guess. the multistrada was an amazing bike, and id love to have another, but the power was just unusable.
  21. unless your offloading, id look away from the tenere now the new storm 1000 is an awesome bike, its more of a road worthy bike, its adventured styled, but is meant to be a road touring bike. which is what everyone wants now, upright seating position that the adventure bikes give, but something that you can put loads of road miles on and handles well. i just don't get why people buy the GS, KTM Adventure, Super Tenere and the likes (serious off road adventure bikes) but never ride them off road. if your gonna ride on road only, buy something that will fit those needs.
