  1. Well the cold has moved in, some of you may have started to tuck the bike away for the winter, others not. but with the weather we are all riding less. so no better time to get a little maintenance done. so i am offering to all the fine Ohio Riders members special pricing for a refresh. what you get! Fork Fluid refresh Front and Rear brake fluid refresh Coolant refresh Chain clean and lube Shaft drive Fluid Refresh (if applicable)(add $5) Stabil added to your tank (if wanted) Hydraulic Clutch Fluid refresh (if applicable) Clutch cable lub (if applicable) general inspection (tires, brakes, suspension, lever functions, check for oil leaks, etc.) all fluids included in price $175 i can also offer pick up and delivery for a small fee as well if you are wanting to upgrade the springs in your forks, now is the time. for most bikes the springs will come out in order to do the fluid change anyway, so no charge on most bikes to swap in new springs. If you need fork seals replaced, there will be an additional charge but i will work with you to get you a great price! I will only be taking on 2 bikes per week, first come first serve.
  2. color me curious on the gloves. will these work with gerbings jacket liner.. plugs seems to look the same. also PM me a price
  3. jesus.. offer him 8k and go from there. if he gets offended fuck it. most likely he will come back at you with a counter offer. just keep your top dollar price in your head and hold firm.. if he cant come to that then keep looking.. end of story BTW Ducatis are expensive to maintain, but that old ass Pauly can take care of you at a cheaper price than dealers. and now the belt maintenance is alot longer intervals, so its mostly valve adjustments that are needed frequently.. which i think is 7500 miles on that model.. waiting for Pauly to chime in
  4. And yes this thread was started to get some route ideas, exploit potential issues, and see what others who have made a similar trip have to say.. They have the experience. My biggest concerns right now are time management, comfort, and the bike (i will be within a few thousand miles of my big service (belts and valves) before the trip comes)

  15. so i have been wanting to do this for a while now, and i think this coming year is going to be that time. from ohio to california and back.. but not a straight shot there and back. i want to hit black hills/badlands, SD Glacier National Park, MT Crater Lake National Park, OR Grand Canyon National Park, AZ i want to ride the best sections of Pacific Coast Highway i want to ride mullholand DR i want to see the redwood forest and im sure there is some more attractions i should see. so.. what other really good places should i visit, what are the must see places? and what kind of time frame should i have to do this? i can do pretty consistent 600 mile days in the saddle. but would prefer 400, and could do some 800 mile days here and there.
