  1. So, what is it that split the leg open like that? Any idea what did that during the wreck? Just curious.

    Glad you're going to be OK. :cool:

    I don't think it's nasty, I think the split calf looks badass now that I know you're going to be just fine.

    Reminds me that I'm going to see that exhibit "BODIES" down in Cincinnati before it leaves this September.

    I'm fairly certain it was that road sign just before the two huge trees after my expert review of the material.....and being there. :D

  2. Rims and tires look good. Front tire is pretty new. Back tire is squared off..has 6000 miles on it. Front ZX14 calipers are good. Front and read brake lines are good. Front Zx14 Master cylinder is good. Bar ends are good. Motor seems to be in one piece. No leaks. Radiator has dent in it, but no leak. Brake pads (HH) in front and back have about 1000 miles on them. I'm sure the rear pads have little to no wear on them. Stabilizer is good. Brake and clutch levers are good.

    I call dibs on the snapped in half sub frame!!!

  3. I know the other guy who might have better pictures but he's being an asshat and won't send them to me.

    It was really really cool to see!! I damn near pulled out my knife to start dissecting shit. But Inya is big fella and still would have beat me up, gimp leg and all.

    Anatomy 101....the class will now begin.

  4. hope it heals fast.

    OH, I just read the police report, it said if he had been on a suzuki, or even a honda he would have made it.

    OH NO HE DIDN'T!!! :lol::lol::lol:

    Inya, I'm just glad you're home and able to rest and recover. More importantly, you're still with us to ride another day. Like I said when I started the thread, when I saw that guy running from his house toward the corner my heart came up in my throat. But once we got stopped and you were in fairly good shape I was more at ease. You were cool, calm, and collected (even with the jokes)....HUGE props to you for that! If I were you I would have been screaming like a little girl scout who just got her cookies stolen.

    Oh, I started a search for a new bike for you......but they're all Suzuki's. :thefinger::D

  5. Im still confused.. Why did they life flight him for Road Rash on his leg.

    I personally wouldn't call his injury road rash but I think it was more of a better safe than sorry move. Expensive flight, but the EMT was just being cautious after seeing the wreckage.

  6. What sort of gear was he wearing?

    Like shitty said, boots, mesh jacket, jeans, helmet of course, and gloves. I think he hit his head on the ground but not bad as there was a small scuff on it. His jacket held up well for being mesh, lots of dirt and grass on/in it. Don't recall which shoulder, but he hit and skid on one of them. Boots looked untouched, glove had some crap on them.

    I might take a rid out to the hospital tomorrow, I'll call him tomorrow and see what I can bring him.

    They initially took him to Coshocton hospital, but then he was flighted out to Akron General. It'll be a bit of a drive/ride out to there if you go. Also, his brother has his phone I believe so calling it won't get you him but someone else might answer it.

  7. Feel better dude. Good thing there was room to crash and no traffic. Blind hill crests are scary shit when you don't know what to expect.

    I should be a little clearer here, once we crested the hill it decended and at the bottom was the sharpish left hander. But yes, they are scary as shit and I was just easing around blind corners and over the those hills.

  8. Well today a couple of us decided to head down RT60 toward Zanesville. In the group were myself, shittygsxr, Inyazz, his god brother, and another rider. They destroyed every corner they came into contact with and their pace was pretty good. I ride as hard as I like and don't worry about trying to hang with the faster guys thusly I was pulling up the rear. In any case we made it to Zanes and stopped for some Chipotle, holy shit it was good. I've never been there. Any way we started heading back less Shitty as he went back to C-bus.

    It was sometime after 2:00pm if I remember right we were only on the road for maybe 15 minutes. The fast guys were out running hard and I was pulling up the rear when they went over a hill and disappeared. As I crested the hill there was a pretty sharp left hander and I start breaking as I see a guy running from his house (just before the corner) toward the corner. I though to myself, "Fuck, this CANNOT be good." Sure enough I start around the corner and see one 2006 black ZX10 pretty fucked up lying by a big ass tree and on the other side of that was Inyazz. There happened to be a house right on the outside of the turn and he was lying close to their driveway. I pulled in and he's sitting propped up on his left elbow. He's looking at his leg which was looking a little fucked up. In all it was his only visible injury, and he was very calm and even laughing about the fuck up he just made. He was like "Hey, take some pictures! Take some pictures!" Crazy bastard. Within oh...10 minutes if that all the usual crews were on scene. EMT walked up, looked at his leg and asked if he was hurting anywhere else to which he replied "Nope, just the leg." The EMT looked at the scene and turn to tell his partner to call and "get the bird ready." So Inya got to get a friggin' helicopter ride!! Lucky fucker!! They packed him into their truck and took him to Coshocton Hospital then flighted him out to Akron General.

    I didn't see what had happened but from what he said he got into the corner maybe a little hot/wide and his first instinct was to hit the brakes which stood him up 1/3 through the corner but not completely finished and off the road he went. He couldn't have traveled more than maybe 50 feet I'd guess maybe less. It looked A LOT worse than it was, but I'm glad he was calm, conscious, and in good health given what had just happened sans the leg.

    I was more concerned about him than taking pictures of his now gimp ass. I'll try to get the pics from one of the other guys and get them posted. I remember at one point he's lying there and he was like, "Shit! Where's my iPod!?!?" Dumbass....I looked through the carnage and found it for him so he'll be at ease this evening at the hospital.
