What he's saying is still pertinent and correct. In order to ensure all customers are "treated similarly" dealers don't change their doc fees. When you negotiate even if you get them to "remove" the fee they will just reduce the purchase price by $250 and keep the doc fee on the bill of sale.

Just realized that the old school MSD is actually for an odd-fire V6 or rotary car, so probably not of much use to anyone. If someone wants it for free let me know.

Yeah you'll need high temp stuff for the rotary. I'll have to talk to Performance Powdercoating to see if they can offer 2000 degree stuff

Hey Joe who'd you use? I had my turbine housings done by IRP and they sent them someplace in TX for this black 2000 degree coating. It's held up well but I don't know if I want to pony up that kind of money for my old busted downpipe

who'd you have do it local? I was considering someone in town to do my downpipe and would like to avoid them if it's going to suck.

If you're talking about Chuck Westbrook he's the person who has pushed proper tuning of the Apexi PFC farther than anyone in the US As for swaps I have no issue with it as long as you don't come around telling me how shitty my rotary is because that's just as close minded as people who immediately write off the swap. The swap has many benefits but for my planned useage it didnt make enough sense to do. Maybe someday it will but likely ill stay rotary as long as i own the car.

Yeah I changed to a tanabe medallion last year in an effort to quiet it down but it bothers me that it necks down to 2.5" where it meets up with the mid pipe. I've been looking to find a replacement that is on the quiet side and also still full 3" and flows well.
