  1. no redline in my FD ever again! D4 is going in the TL.
  2. I'll take the D4 ATF. didn't realize you had it.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely look into it, although I'm not thrilled with their service lately so I have to hope that their upcoming LTE coverage is better.
  4. I always thought i would buy this car. He gave me first dibs before listing it for sale. Hell, I proposed to my wife in this car! I should have convinced him to sell it to me 2 years ago, but I just can't justify buying it now. I am looking forward to driving its replacement.
  5. yeah, is this possible at all? Or will I have to pay full price for the phone? If that's the case and my only option for a reduced-price phone is to go with a capped data plan, then I'm jumping to Verizon. I've been month-to-month for over a year now on AT&T and have never upgraded since my original 3GS which I have unlimited data on. Will they grandfather me into unlimited data and reduce the price of the phone if I sign up for another 2 years?
  6. AT&T had unlimited data, and it's the only thing that's kept me with them. But what good is unlimited slow ass anoying data? You're not going to get an unlimited plan going into a new contract with AT&T, but if you don't have it with Verizon, then no loss there.
  7. I'm less than enthused with AT&T service with regard to both data and voice. I'll be switching to Verizon when the new iPhone comes out.
  8. Looks clean. Glad you were able to find one to suit your needs.
  9. Buy a base model e36 then. Strip it, cage it, drive it slow, then swap after you have some track time on it.
  10. You're a good fabricator. Buy my M3, LSX swap it, and rock out on the track. I'll be up there tomorrow as pit-crew/ride-along status.
  11. OUCH! That sucks. Looked like he might make it thru for a second.
  12. Supra looks cool as crap. Any more details on it? Welcome to the site.
  13. I know I'm late to the party, and my opinion will fall on deaf ears, but I vote you embrace your PR heritage...13B and spray the crap out of it.
  14. This. I'll admit, I regularly put my son on our kitchen table in it, but only when I'm feeding him, and when we're done, guess what, he and the Bumbo get removed from the table and that's it. If you haven't noticed that your baby tries to wiggle out of everything and it's not a good idea to leave him unattended 3 feet in the air, then accidents will happen.
  15. What are you using for a boost controller? It's been really hot this year and then recently cooled off. If you're using an older boost control device that could affect it too.
  16. Thanks again. Mods can lock this up
  17. true, you get an extra inch of rear leg room (front stays the same) betwen the B8 and B7, but the wagon also gives up 10cu ft in rear storage space, so it's a toss up. I'm cheap too...which would lead me back to the B7. hahaha
  18. Well that makes it way easier to find one I was looking at B7s which I think are still pretty close size wise aren't they? The tough part is rear leg room. With the baby seat if you have to move the front seat way forward it makes life a pain for anyone trying to sit there.
  19. yeah, no MT made me figure I shouldn't worry about trying to be sporty with it anyway and just enjoy the other nice things about the car. E46 wagon could still be "sporty" and they come in a 5 speed. Or if you're willing to go way up in budget you can get 08 A4 wagons with the 2.0T and 6-speeds. That'd be my favorite if it were a little bigger.
  20. Man, I must run through this scenario in my head over and over. My e36 is a bit small to keep using as a family vehicle. I definitely have a car seat in it without too much trouble, but I have to have the passenger seat all the way forward to do it. Staying in the BMW world and your price range, you have e46 and e39 wagons. The e39 gives you about 1.5" more rear leg room and way more rear cargo space....they're just kinda ugly. I love e39 sedans, but they jacked the proportions all up for the wagons. Which leaves an e46 wagon which looks good, but isn't the biggest. I keep coming back to the e46 wagon just because it's somewhat familiar and easy to work on for me. Audi wise, the A4 wagons are similar in interio dimmensions as the comparable year 3 series wagons. If you get a turbo 4cyl A4 you can make it pretty peppy for not too much investment or trouble. A6 wagons are similar to 5 series. The A6 gets you about 2" more rear leg room which is nice. Even though they're out of your price range, 2006-ish A6s are attractive. They don't have the air suspension and 2.7T of the allroad, but don't have those issues either. They're just going to be slow and boring. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=43081&endYear=2007&modelCode1=A6&startYear=2004&makeCode1=AUDI&bodyStyles=WAGON&searchRadius=500&maxPrice=20000&listingId=326277463&Log=0
  21. yeah, I figured it's probably an easy fix on the dryer, and likely just a bearing or easy part on the washer, I just have NO experience working on appliances. We got an offer from some friends to take their old base-model stuff off of them, so we made the switch because it was easier than dealing with fixing these. The operation of actually washing and drying is perfectly fine on these, just the noises associated was the reason for replacing them.
