    iOS4 is UP!

your lock screen wallpaper and the backround when you're viewing apps can be controlled independently. As a default it'll use the lock screen wallpaper for both, you just need to change the home screen wallpaper. Overall I'm pretty happy with the changes. I realize that they were mostly avaliable before by jailbreaking the phone, but I'm too lazy for that. I haven't had a chance to play around with multi-tasking much yet, but the folders helped clean things up a lot on my phone. The zoom on the camera is alright, but at least it's quicker than the app I had to do that before. Tap to focus on video is nice too.

    quick, pick

Can I vote #1 and keep it matte silver?
  4. PM'd. Although I can't hang with you single turbo guys.

    Speedway...

My understanding when I heard this rumor was that it was going to be for debit transactions. As mentioned previously they can't do it for CC charges. You really shouldn't be using your card as debit at the pump anyway.
  6. Nice pics. Looks good! Glad to see it turned out well. I do miss the 40 Roll plate though....HAHA.
  7. me too. I like that place. Great owner/manager.
  8. There's a guy at my work that goes there religiously, so I'll try to ask him today to see if he's heard anything. I really enjoy it there. The way it's run is safety first, and if you don't like it get the F-out, which is the way that I want any range I'm at to be run. Plus, shooting those steel plate targets on the pistol range is completely addictive.
  9. Sorry Clay, just realized that I'm going out of town that weekend for a niece's birthday party. Not that I was going to be much of a help, but I will not be able to attend.
  10. bah...I'm lazy, you caught me. I really don't think that portion of Polaris is even the biggest issue on Polaris. The dash for 71 coming from West to East is where I see the biggest speed offenders on that road. Is it just me or does that seem like a small portion of road to try to catch people by plane? Perhaps I'm just not up to snuff on how they do those tests. Really the only place I would regularly see people having enough space between lights to speed would be between Africa and Cleveland if they didn't catch any of those newer lights they've put in there.
  11. how far does Westerville jurisdiction stretch down Polaris? If they really want to save lives, they'd start writing people tickets for blowing thru intersections there. Polaris and S. Old State is possibly the worst intersection I've been around in a long time.

    Beef Jerky!

usually if you go to the farmers market there will be some local jerky producers there selling stuff that is pretty good. If you're going to go with store-bought stuff you need to try Oh Boy O Berto.
  13. blood. in. the. water.
  14. I know absolutely nothing about C4 corvettes, and Optispark scares me....but I'll stop by and drink some beer and cheer you on!
  15. Yeah, mine is just the R1 lip from the 93-95 cars. I actually need a new one, but I'm lazy.
  16. Yeah, your side piece is pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I think it accomplishes the idea of having an artistic tatoo that is a bit more than the average bear would dare to have, yet it's not always out in the open. We've never met, but we are the same age and both work corporate jobs. While people of our generation are generally more accepting of tatoos and piercings, persons older than us generally do not share the same accepting behavior. While they may never say anything to you directly it certainly can affect their opinion of you. While I'm all for saying "F-em" to people who don't understand, it can burn you down the road in ways you may never even realize. It also doesn't seem that you're going to want to go thru the trouble of covering it up at all times at work, so a sleeve may not be your best bet.
  17. I always liked Brian Stetzer's take on things..."My father told me to never have a tatoo that a judge could see". In many cases today, I think you can interpret "judge" in many different ways. As long as you're fine with the idea of regularly covering it up then it could be worth it to you, but consider that you're going to have to make that continual effort/sacrifice in order to have it. Do you already have something on your side/ribs? I've always thought that a nice flowing piece on a woman's side/ribs looked good if done well. That could be a way to have a nice big piece you could be proud of without all of the pitfalls of having it on your arm. The people you wanted to see it still would.
  18. RIP, Sorry to hear Tim. Looks like the he had a great life with your family though.
  19. buy it and rebuild the n/a motor and drive it. It will be slow as crap but relatively fun to drive. N/A rotaries will practically live forever.
  20. so...perhaps I missed it, but what are the advantages to having collector plates over a standard or personalized plate?
  21. The 13B-REW (the TT as you alluded to) from the FD is a whole different animal to go into a FC. I'd say if you want turbocharged fun look into finding a 13B-T (the motor from the TII). If you want my horribly honest opinion, don't buy a N/A FC and try to turbo it. If you want a turbo go with a TII from the get go and save yourself A TON of trouble. Either that or go with keeping the FC N/A and stripping it down and having fun with it as-is.
  22. Nobody local that I know of. The best resource is a gentleman on Rx7Club with the screen name of Theorie. Great work and quick turn-around. I've been meaning to send mine to him, but just haven't gotten around to it. He also recently started selling a LED conversion that actually looks pretty good (despite the absolute poor attempts in the past).
  23. Thanks for the continued lulz guys. On topic. I think the studio shots came out great. Have you done any cars in that setting before?
