autozone usually sells a siphon pump for about $5. I'd go that route to get it out.

damn Ghost, this thread turned to hell pretty quick just like your other one. If I remember correctly the Porsche flat 6's have a tendency to leak from the rear main seal. I'd look around on rennlist and see if there are common symptoms and fixes available. Maybe Audion19s or Mensan can chime in here to help you out.

the tires are a couple of years old. I stored them in trash bags in a temperature controlled environment. They were the last set of track tires I had for my bike which I sold at the end of 08.

As others have mentioned it'll vary on your individual situation. Owning a condo has allowed me to live where I want to, and in a nice place, without being house poor because of a bigger payment. The savings isn't as much as some people make it out to be, as I could have bought plenty of house for the money I pay now, i just couldn't have that house where I wanted. So this was the compromise. I hear my neighbors every now and then but it's nothing major. My biggest complaint is parking at my place, so pay attention to that before you buy. The biggest downside is that when you try to leave you're likely going to find that you didn't really have quite the "investment" that people want you to believe.

Unfortunately there aren't any banking centers in all of Ohio and won't be for quite some time. There are a few ATM's out there, but that won't do him any good.

LOL at BOA being legit. As for the transaction, it's not an entirely uncommon practice, but still a pain in the butt. You should be able to call and talk to his loan officer and get proof of his loan and financed amount. If you get those then it's not a scam, just a pain.
