  1. This helmet is exceptional shape it was only worn a handful of times and has not been dropped or damaged in any fashion. It is an XL $300 o.b.o
  2. I love it when a bike has a sweet sounding run-out. I love the sound mine makes. Gotta say I really like piped triples though.
  3. I'm glad we're getting real world reviews here. I just ordered a set from Amazon for $23 (got white to match my bike ) I've tried riding with music once and it was with cheap in-ears and didn't stay put and weren't that comfortable. I mainly want something other than earplugs so, I can at least have some music if I've got something in my ear. Also I've got one of these... http://www.amazon.com/Monster-iEZClick-Remote-Control-Black/dp/B000HVHGI6 For those with an iPod it's fantastic. It's a weather resistant wireless remote for any iPod model (it even works on iPhones). I have it strapped to my left-side mirror stalk and I can play, pause, track forward/back, and control volume with it.
  4. Incorrect. OP is correct the R6 haz moar secksay! Although the CBR does look really good in white.
  5. Hopefully a lot better. Granted I don't have an expensive HJC but, I haven't heard really great things about any of them. Of course this was after I bought one. lol
  6. Haven't ridden in it yet but I've worn it for about 20 minutes in the house. lol It actually fits properly and is lighter. Overall pretty comfortable. Edit update: Got out and shot down 271 for a few exits. It's worlds better than the HJC it's replacing.!
  7. It matches pretty well. I'd prefer and all white one but, for the price I couldn't beat it. I think it's actually an '09 scheme. It's not on Arai's site anymore.
  8. I got my new helmet today so, I'm down to spend some time on the slabs now.
  9. Damn... You guys went quite a bit more after I broke off.
  10. That was a fun ride. Nice meeting you guys.
  11. The guy I ride with the most lives in Willoughby near Lowes and we usually meet up at his place. We're probably going to check out Mentor QSL's bike night tomorrow. Send me an email at tentwelve@gmail.com.
  12. I wish him the best and a fast a recovery.
  13. Ask and you shall receive... ...and how it looks now with the black seat on it.
  14. Love'em... Yes, they are relatively expensive but they are very well made and perform exceptionally. They look great and they are very, very bright for a single LED. Check out some of the comparison vids on YouTube.
  15. If she wasn't an avid rider in the past there's no point in getting her a $13k backwards trike to use a few times a summer. You really need to swing a leg over a Tuono.
  16. After trading in your FZ6 and buying a new (left-over) Tuono you'd be at the same price for a decent used Duc probably. Anyhow... retrieve your balls from her purse and do what you want to do. Tell her to hike up her skirt and learn how to rise on 2 wheels and get her a beater bike.
  17. Well, if your luck holds out on the job front stay with the Tuono idea. The insurance really is not that bad and plus it's really just a 998.
  18. You should definitely follow in my footsteps and go from FZ6 to Tuono. I bought my '08 Tuono brand new in March and it's probably the best vehicular decision I have ever made. This bike does everything well, has a relaxed maintenance schedule, looks great, sounds great, and can be had relatively cheap these days. Took this pic yesterday after putting the black seat on... Oh and as far as issues. It's not an electrical/charging issue exactly. The connectors Aprilia use are sub-par and they fail there are 1 or 2 effected depending upon the bike. Oh, and the back brakes really need to bled carefully. If you're FZ6 is anything like mine was the back brakes are night and day. I could lock the FZ up no problem. The Tuono? Not so much. But, the big ass Brembos at the front make up for it.
  19. Damn, I don't remember the details. lol Wow, Slick Motorsports. I haven't heard them mentioned in years.
  20. Yeah, that's me. Who are you from CSi? and thanks.
