  1. Update to this. Apparently Arata of Japan hasn't contacted any retailer in the USA for over a month. My order is still pending and as of right now, I have no information or estimate on when something might be shipped to the United States. :(

With that, I have been debating on other exhaust such as the Full Akro, or a Full Arrow with carbon cans. I think the Akro has a slightly better look to it, but like the sound of the Arrow. While I know it comes down to personal pref, does anyone have positive/negative on either brand? Or do I just wait it out on Arata which could take 1-2+ months?

    Heres my options:

    Arrow Full w/Carbon Can for

Price: $884.25 Shipped.-(@25%) off till Monday

Arrow Competition Full Ti, Ti Can w/Carbon End Cap

Total: $1,493.95 Shipped.-(@25%) off till Monday

Akrapovic Evolution Full Exhaust System (Hex)

    Total: $1,538.95 Shipped

  2. I wish!!! It would be so awesome to be a cop. Many of the OSU cops make six figures with their overtime and "special duty". When I see them just parked somewhere, I can help but think to myself I wish I could sit around and masterbate at work.

I wouldnt say many, but a few do. But you can do that anywhere when you live at work :D

  3. Yeah, ended up on Etrailer and got a plug n tow harness, along with the rest that I needed(hitch/ball etc). Found a 5% off code also and tossed that in and order it up. Saved about $100!

  4. Does anyone know a good/reasable place to have a trailer hitch installed? I called U-haul today and they quoted me around $280 for install/product on a class 3+wiring. I am willing to install the hitch myself, but doing wiring is something I've never been good on.

Or does anyone have a opinion on a brand or type? Its for an 04 chevy colorado ext. cab 4WD. I'll be towing bikes mainly so no more then 1500lbs.

  5. I got one a few months ago to replace my Vega and I'm digging it so far. Weight is about average, but make sure you try it on before you buy it. The cheek pads are very snug at first, but they do break it after a few rides.

    +1 scorpion.

  6. I accidently ordered the V-flow on my old bike after having the same problem with the classic. I got use to it, but did like the classic better. As for difference in wind...I didn't notice any. Just make sure you either have a barrier between the foam now or cut it away.

  7. We wondered where you guys went. We waited up the road for like 10 minutes thinking you all would catch up. Even sent one of us back scouting.

Good day, and thank god for the Sargent seat! Heres a few pics from the day:

  8. I believe I had the same problem on my 04 600rr. It looks like the chrome/color is being rubbed off. If so, its caused by the foam insert located aroud the middle light. I ended up getting a new one and cutting off the foam around the light/windscreen section. I believe most of the new sportech screens come with a static plastic piece there now, but yours may have not.

Contact them and see what they say. I tried a matching color sticker there for mine at first, but it just got bubbled with all the wind and looked like crap.
