  1. Got approval to get off work this morning, so I'll head to IP around 1ish and then meet up for the ride over for the evening. No plans for me, so count me in until it starts to get dark. :burnout:

And this time, I won't get home with metal radials showing thru my rear tire!

  2. Got off work a bit ago, but thus far just me to go out. Going to Sears to get some stuff then will be back to check if anyone else is willing to go out. Prolly going to hit up the route from a few weeks ago. 664 into 188/159 back and then to Happy Hour.

Will check back in about an hour, pm me if you want me cell.

  3. Anyone want to go riding before Happy Hour and ending up there? Was thinking of taking off work early and going out since the weather is nice and I am busy Thur/Sat evenings 8(.

  4. Good time out, I got us a smidge out of place on the start and took us the long way out to 664

Anyways, we went 664 South starting at 256 all the way to Logan. A great time and the road was pretty good to boot, with very little gravel. Only saw one deputy just before Logan, so all was good. We had to cut it short there though, as the storm appeared to be rolling in fast. Next time, I plan on moving up to 188 down to 159 and 674 back!

Thanks for coming along Smash!

  5. Hmmm.... Do you have a pipe on yours?

Nope stock pipe at the moment. I have an full Ti Arata on the way that Schmuck is going to help me put on. Then going to have brian tune it out for me. I'll post the follow up numbers when I get them.

  6. you signed up for june 1?

that's my target date for first track day EVAR!

hopefully I will at least have 1 other rider coming too = buddy system :sleep2:

Yeah, I enrolled yesterday at work for June 1st and 29/30. I still need to sign the waiver forms and figure out what to do with them. The 1st will me my first day also, so I'm still proding people for info, but think I have somewhat of an understanding. Now I just need to figure out how I am going to get up there, ride the bike...or buy a trailer for it.

  7. I had progressive with my 04 600rr and they were ok, but insurance was high till 25. It was acceptable after that. I then went to get a quote at state farm and it was higher coverages with $1k less a year, but you need an auto policy to keep it down. Most of the time they make you get another policy to even get the bike. Theres been several threads about insurance on here, but I believe most of them got deleted with the server crash.
